The Construction Of Children's Dictionary Based On Mongolian Textbooks

Teaching dictionary is a special kind of dictionary specifically for teaching purpose.It is based on real language teaching,and expounds the use of the words in realistic contexts.A teaching dictionary is more than just a simple reference source,but also combines learnability,applicability and normativity.For the purpose of compiling a new teaching dictionary that is scientific and based on textbooks,this research is conducted.This paper consists of five parts.The introduction provides research objectives,research significance,an overview of related research,research method and process.The first chapter focuses on the research overview of the textbook corpus,an overview of the research processes such as proofreading,lexical annotation,lexicon building and phrasal lexicon building.Chapter two introduces the following processes during the creation of the teaching dictionary based on the Mongolian language textbooks: word selection,building the corpus related to each entry,annotation of definitions and pronunciations,classification of parts of speech,entering of sentence examples.The second part of chapter two is about the making of the search system.Chapter three presents the functions of the teaching dictionary based on the Mongolian language textbooks,and also displays the interface of the online dictionary.In the conclusion,the whole content of the paper is summarized.
