"Social and emotional competence" refers to the knowledge,skills,attitudes,and mindsets necessary for an individual to succeed in life.Studies have shown a strong link between children's "Social and emotional competence" and their early school preparation and school adaptation.Children with high "Social and emotional competence" have better academic performance and development;For teachers,"Social and emotional competence" is equally important,teachers with "Social and emotional competence" can communicate effectively with learners and manage the classroom rationally,they can create a positive class atmosphere,help students to obtain better academic performance,promote the development of students' "Social and emotional competence",teachers " social-emotional ability" level will also affect their own mental health,"Social and emotional competence" insufficient teachers can not reasonably control their negative emotions.They are more likely to get stress and job burnout.In recent years,the research on "social-emotional ability" has been increasing gradually at home and abroad,and the importance of "social-emotional ability" has been paid more and more attention.On the basis of previous research,combined with the results of interviews and open questionnaires,the "Social and emotional competence" Questionnaire for Primary and Secondary School Teachers was initially prepared.After initial testing and formal testing,a formal questionnaire was formed,and the results of the data analysis proved that the questionnaire had a high reliability and efficiency to the psychometric index.The conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the "Social and emotional competence" Questionnaire for primary and secondary School teachers contains four dimensions: self-management,social awareness,social interaction and responsible decision-making.Secondly,the "Social and emotional competence" questionnaire for primary and secondary school teachers is highly effective and can be used as an effective tool to measure the "Social and emotional competence" of primary and secondary school teachers.Thirdly,the overall level of "Social and emotional competence" of primary and secondary school teachers is high.There is no significant difference in the "Social and emotional competence" of primary and secondary school teachers in terms of genderor grade.There are significant differences in the responsible decision-making ability of primary and secondary school teachers with different academic qualifications,there are significant differences in self-management,social interaction and general "Social and emotional competence" of primary and secondary school teachers in different disciplines,there are significant differences in the responsible decision-making ability of teachers of different teaching age,and there are significant differences in self-management,social consciousness,social interaction ability and general "Social and emotional competence" between class-teachers and other teachers.
