With the development of the information age and the advancement of modern technology,people often use tools to solve complex computing processes,and their computing concepts have also changed.Therefore,it is particularly important to judge the accuracy of the results and estimate reasonable answers.Nowadays,the estimation ability has become an important part of the mathematics content of primary schools,but the implementation of the estimation content in the first stage is still short.Therefore,studying the current situation of the students' estimation abilities in the first stage can help improve the estimation teaching.This article use literature analysis,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and other research methods from both teachers and students in the first stage of primary school in China to study the current situation of the students' estimation abilities,research the following conclusions:(1)The students in the first stage have lower scores in multiplication estimation questions and complex application questions,and they use a single estimation method.There is no significant difference in the total scores of students of different genders,but there are significant differences in multiplication estimation questions.The results of multiplication estimation questions are significantly higher for boys than for girls.(2)There is a significant difference in the score scores of different types of questions and integer estimation types,and there is no significant difference in the scores of estimation questions with different adjustment levels.The scoring rate of complex application questions is significantly lower than that of direct estimation questions and simple application questions.The scoring rate of multiplication estimation questions is significantly lower than that of addition estimation questions.(3)The estimated emotional level and concept understanding of the first stage students will affect their estimation ability.The higher the level,the better the estimation performance.At the same time,the estimated emotional level will also affect students' understanding of estimated concepts.(4)The estimation teaching content of the mathematics textbook for human education is fully infiltrated,reasonable examples and exercises are arranged,and estimation scenarios are cleverly arranged to create conditions for the cultivation of students' estimation thoughts,mastery of estimation techniques,and enhancement of estimation value recognition.(5)Teachers have a single estimation teaching strategy,over-enhancing a single estimation method,and fuzzy evaluation criteria for estimation questions,which affects the development of students' estimation ability,the diversity of estimation methods,and the selection of estimation strategies.
