Gifted students are an important talent reserve for the future development of a country.Gifted education is also a topic that has attracted much attention in the international education community.There have been many extensive and successful attempts and practices in many countries and regions.However,in China,due to the impact of popular mathematics education,the society has not paid much attention to gifted education.Research on gifted education has been tepid in recent years.Training measures or policies for gifted students is also very scarce.The importance of gifted students to social development is self-evident,so raising awareness of gifted education is an urgent task.The author takes the "investigation on the current situation of junior high school mathematics gifted students' learning environment" as the research topic,combines the information of gifted education policies of other countries and regions,and related documents of gifted mathematics students,and uses the common elements in multiple views of the elements of the learning environment.PISA test questionnaire and other relevant materials,compiled "Test Questions for the Characteristics of Mathematics Gifted Students in Junior Middle School Grades" and "Questionnaire for the Status Quo of Mathematics Gifted Students in Junior High Schools".Some students are the research object,investigate the learning environment of junior middle school math gifted students,sort out the problems and reasons in the current math gifted student learning environment,and propose targeted improvement measures in order to attract more front-line teachers' and researchers' attention.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.At present,the learning environment of junior high school mathematics gifted students has both advantages and disadvantages.The status of the support of the scaffold and the construction of the learning community are relatively good.The situation in terms of context and tools is general.The situation in terms of resources is poor.In terms of learning evaluation,when teachers evaluate students,they lack indepth communication with students.Although evaluation indicators are multidimensional,they focus on quantifiable results.In addition,some gifted students 'families are influenced by the concept of "test-oriented education",and they are also concerned about students' mathematics learning and support.2.In the current environment,the gifted students of junior high school mathematics are relatively stable,and their mathematical outlook is also in a good state,but the sense of mathematical responsibility needs to be improved.3.Most gifted mathematics students have the need to learn richer mathematics because of their mathematics qualifications.At present,the curriculum of most schools cannot meet the needs of students.Students can only meet their own learning needs through autonomous learning after class.In this kind of autonomous learning,students will encounter some problems,such as lack of systematic learning,lack of stable and professional help targets,and so on.4.At present,most schools have not adopted special measures to train gifted mathematics students.A small number of schools have adopted certain measures to train gifted mathematics students,but the measures are relatively simple,mainly based on deepening courses.The school has problems such as single index and simple method when selecting students for the course.Teachers will also pay more attention to quantitative indicators when evaluating students' learning.
