As the foundation of mathematical knowledge,elementary school mathematics concept has a high degree of abstraction,generality and strict logic,which is undoubtedly very difficult to grasp knowledge for the students in primary school who mainly think in images.Therefore,elementary mathematics concept teaching is also placed in an important position,and teaching design as the premise of teaching practice,its importance is evident.Variation Theory is a learning theory about how teachers guide students to learn,in the Variation Theory,under the guidance of teachers will be more consciously analyze students in concept learning difficulties,determine the key attributes of learning content,design the pattern of variation,the critical aspect of object of learning,highlight is the critical feature of mathematical concept learning,help students to master the connotation and denotation of mathematics concept.This research uses the literature analysis method to grasp the connotation of Variation Theory.It is realized that the speciality of instructional design under variation theory lies in the pattern of variation.The design of changes and invariance of teaching content can help teachers and students grasp the concept of concept teaching.Focus on difficult points,and explain the adaptability of mutation theory to concept teaching.Then,through classroom observation method,quiz method and interview method,it analyzed how Miss.Wu dealt with the "average" learning content,and improved the teaching design of Mr.Y's "Knowledge Graphics(I)",as well as the teaching design and implementation of "Kg and Gram".The cases involved three major fields of statistics and probability,graphics and geometry,and numbers and algebra,taking into account the concepts of descriptive,definite,and perceptual categories.From the analysis of the teaching design of famous teachers,to the improvement of the existing teaching design,and then the independent establishment and implementation of teaching,it shows how the Variation Theory guides teachers in teaching design.After research,it was found that the general idea of elementary mathematics concept teaching design under the guidance of Variation Theory: teachers will pay more attention to "what to teach",clarify the connotation and extension of concepts from higher-level mathematical knowledge,grasp teaching objectives in interpreting curriculum standards,grasp teaching priorities in textbook comparison,and diagnose Grasping teaching difficulties among students.In the process of teaching,the pattern of variation is used to bring out the learning function.Finally,the teaching design is evaluated in the variability of learning content.Elementary mathematics concept teaching design based on Variation Theory can help students better grasp the key features of learning content,and ultimately achieve the expected learning effect.To a certain extent,this research helps more researchers understand what mutation theory is and how to use it for instructional design.It also provides materials for instructional design for frontline teachers.
