Along with the development of science and technology,the improvement of the quality of national life and the acceleration of China's aging process.The technology in the field of robots has been rapidly developed,the popularity of applications has increased,and the form has become more diversified.Intelligent,home-based,and service robots are gradually becoming popular and integrated into everyday life.Compared with traditional industrial robots,home service robots have higher design requirements in terms of appearance,interaction,safety,etc.,and there is also a high demand for user psychology and humanization.However,most of the service robots in the market lacked the preliminary user needs research in the research and development process,as well as the verification and optimization of the relevant human-machine evaluation in the later stage.As a result,the market product user satisfaction is lower and the competitiveness is lower.In this paper,the current situation of service robots and the physiological and psychological characteristics of the target users are studied.On this basis,the fuzzy Kano model theory has been used to investigate and analyze the needs of users.The functional characteristics of the product are determined by studying the related requirements of the user to the service robot.Secondly,from the perspective of ergonomics,usability research and design aesthetics,the basic principles of companion robot design are proposed.Through the in-depth analysis of the target users,the design method suitable for the elderly service robot is summarized.Then the theoretical research is applied to the design practice.According to the product function requirement of the investigation,the design principle method is used to complete the product design of the aged service robot.Finally,the usability evaluation analysis of the human-computer interaction system for the elderly companion robot,verify the product design.The results will provide a useful reference for the design,development and technology transformation of intelligent robots in C.hina.This paper provides the design basis for the research of the elderly service robot.Proposed a method for the complete development of service robots for the elderly usability evaluation.It also provides theoretical and technical support for future research in related fields.
