The "One Belt And One Road" initiative conforms to the background of The Times of world multi-polarization,economic globalization and cultural diversity.It aims to promote open,inclusive,balanced and inclusive international economic cooperation,and is an active exploration of new models of international cooperation and global governance.On May 14,2017,the first "One Belt And One Road" international cooperation summit BBS was held in Beijing,which was the first high-level BBS activity held by China after the "One Belt And One Road" initiative was put forward,attracting wide attention at home and abroad.However,on the eve of the "BBS",India explicitly refused to participate.India has an important place in the One Belt And One Road initiative.Geographically,India is an important neighbor of southwest China and the largest country in the subcontinent.From the perspective of social economy,India has a population of over 1.2 billion and an economic aggregate of over 2 trillion us dollars,accounting for about 25%of the total population and 10%of the total economic aggregate of the countries along the "silk road economic belt"(see the latest data).In terms of historical origin,both the "southern silk road" and the "maritime silk road" in ancient China passed through India,and the "northern silk road" also had an important influence on India.India’s current attitude to the "One Belt And One Road" initiative is not acceptable,full of vigilance and doubts.The Indian media’s coverage of "One Belt And One Road" has a direct impact on the public’s perception of "One Belt And One Road" and,to some extent,the Indian government’s response to the "One Belt And One Road" initiative.Indian media reports on the "area" all the way to a certain extent reflects India’s perception of "area" initiative,examine how the Indian media reports"area" initiative,how Indian society view its "neighbourhood" initiative provides a visual Angle,in order to further explore how to convey our initiative and concept to the Indian media,to some extent,India support or participate in the "area" initiative.The Times of India is the first Indian media to send correspondents to China,and it is leading the Indian media in reporting on China.India’s most representative views on China also come from The Times of India.The main problem to be solved in this study is what kind of framework is used in the "One Belt And One Road" report of The Times of India?What is the cause of the frame?To solve the above problems,this study focuses on the subject of The Times of India,using factiva dow Jones news database selection on September 7,2013 to August 31,2018,news reports about "area",in this paper,by using the content analysis method to The Times of India reported "area"samples of quantitative statistics,report number,length,manuscript source,source,report issues,reported tendency,emotional tone,the general characteristics of 8 indexes such as press location,including framework of combining case for text hierarchical analysis,Following the research idea from whole to part,from whole to individual case,and combining quantitative analysis and qualitative research,the research found that the"One Belt And One Road" report of The Times of India always shows suspicion and distrust of China,while the cognition of India itself is positioned as a "responsible power".The reason for this kind of report is that the "threat and competition"framework is mainly used in the"One Belt And One Road" report of The Times of India,which is also the main point of this paper.Finally,from the aspects of media,politics,society,economy and culture,it is found that the reasons for the formation of the reporting framework include media organization factors,political conflicts with China,India’s great power complex,India’s desire for economic rise and other factors.
