| Since the implementation of the public library law of the People’s Republic of China on January 1,2018,as the main position of public cultural undertakings,public libraries have ushered in important development opportunities and faced unprecedented challenges.Guiyang is a typical representative of the underdeveloped ethnic areas in Southwest China.The construction of Guiyang public library service system follows the pace of the times and has made some achievements,but there are also some problems.This paper puts forward some suggestions and strategies for improving the service system of Guiyang public library,which is of practical significance.First of all,it discusses the related concepts of the public library service system,as well as the theory of information political economy,library political science and the public library service system covering the whole society.Secondly,in the research part of this paper,it analyzes the service system of Guangzhou and Shenzhen Public Libraries and summarizes the experience.Then the paper makes a field survey and reader survey of Guiyang City Public Library,summarizes the current situation and analyzes the reasons.Finally,according to the previous research,we put forward a series of practical and full of local characteristics of Guiyang,including service system,basic conditions,basic reading services,reading promotion services,vulnerable groups services and digital services.The important research methods involved in this paper are: field survey,questionnaire survey,literature research,etc.First of all,in the basic theory part,through the purchase of professional books,access to network resources,library databases and books collection methods,collect a wealth of literature about this study,and become the main material and theoretical basis of this study through screening.Secondly,in the research part of this paper,by using the field survey method,we can get a large number of real and reliable first-hand materials,such as field visits to various libraries,expert interviews with librarians,access to service data,etc.,which become the main analysis materials of this study.This paper uses the method of questionnaire to design a questionnaire for readers.It aims at the investigation of users’ participation behavior,cognition and attitude towards the public library,analyzes the data and draws the necessary conclusions.There are two innovations in this study,including perspective innovation and viewpoint innovation.One is perspective innovation.It adopts a theoretical perspective of applicability,pays attention to the stickiness of academic research and practical work,pays attention to the applicability guidance for practical work,and puts forward strategies with applicability and enforceability.Second,innovation of views.This paper puts forward six optimization strategies to improve the service system framework of Guiyang public library,improve the basic reading service quality of Guiyang public library,and strengthen the reading promotion service of Guiyang public library,which not only provides effective guidance for Guiyang City,but also hopes to provide effective guidance for the libraries in western ethnic areas and underdeveloped cities. |
