A Survey Of The Use Of WeChat Among The Mongolian Elderly In Hohhot

With the continuous development of science and technology,human society has entered the information age,and new media has become an essential part of people’s lives.Among them,social media has been widely welcomed and has become an important channel for audiences to receive information.As the most commonly used social tool in China,WeChat not only provides convenience for daily life,but also constantly changes people’s lifestyles.In order to understand the use of WeChat by the Mongolian elderly in the city,this article based on the relevant theories of journalism and used a questionnaire survey to investigate the motives,habits,and problems encountered by the Mongolian elderly in Hohhot.The investigation also proposed corresponding measures and solutions.This article consists of three parts: introduction,main content and summary.The introduction mainly includes the research object,research purpose,research significance,research status,research method and so on.The main content consists of three chapters.The first chapter contains the development process,features and functions of WeChat.The second chapter introduces the characteristics of the research objects and the situation of using WeChat,and analyzes their preferences in using WeChat in detail.Chapter 3 summarizes the problems encountered by Mongolian elderly in Hohhot during the use of WeChat and the factors that affect their use of WeChat,and proposes corresponding solutions and ideas.The summary section briefly summarizes the content of this article,summarizes this research,and also makes reasonable suggestions for the future development of WeChat.The appendix contains the books and papers referenced in this article,the questionnaire used in this study-"Questionnaire for the Wechat Use of Mongolian Elderly People in Hohhot",interview records and some photos taken during the investigation and research.
