Research On The Media Landscape Of Rural Short Video

In recent years,with the popularity of mobile phones and the rise of short video platforms,short video content represented by rural scenes,rural people,and rural life has become controversial and sensational.Based on the perspective of cultural studies,this study introduces theories related to the landscape,and progressive analysis of text features,landscape forms and popular reasons of short videos in rural areas,trying to understand the media culture shaped by the short rural video in dialectical considerations.In the introduction,the author systematically combed and expounded the research background,research significance,research status and research methods.The formal discussion of this article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the definition and analysis of the concept.It mainly focuses on the two concepts of "rural short video" and "rural short video landscape" to analyze the research direction of this article.The second chapter and the third chapter discuss in detail the visual text features and media landscape forms of rural short videos,summarizing the three forms of farmer image landscape,rural cultural landscape,and rural short video phenomenon landscape.The fourth chapter focuses on subjectivity and visual consumption from three levels of mass psychology,media technology,and economic interests to explore the motivation of rural short video landscape.The fifth chapter systematically summarizes the rural short video media landscape phenomenon and thinks that the reason why rural short video can become a controversial landscape phenomenon is mainly because it meets the entertainment pleasure needs of the public in the era of visual consumption.In the practice of chasing rural pleasure symbol,the rural image has transformed from a traditional media landscape to a new media landscape,and Its landscape image is more complex and diverse.Finally,the author summarizes the main conclusions of this study.Based on a large number of hunting and participatory experiences of rural short videos,using text analysis,case analysis,and literature analysis methods,this article explores the phenomenon of rural short-video media landscape from a development and dialectical perspective.Hoping to provide useful thinking for future research on the relationship between new media technologies and rural areas.
