Exports, innovation and economic growth not only play an important role on Chinese economic growth.Export can make great contribution to innovation which may have a significant impact on promoting the implementation of the policy externalities. Therefore, research on enterprise innovation in a micro term has important influence on our government trade and innovation policy. This article is mainly related to the variable innovation activities of enterprises, the corresponding investment in technology innovation and enterprise exports. We use OLS and Probit regression methods such as empirical analysis, and studies show that exports can indeed significantly promote firms' technology innovation;but exports for innovation exists "lock-in effect",that is,with the increase in the proportion of exports, positive effect of exports on technology innovation will weaken.Exports will promote technology innovation because of the export learning effects and economies of scale exist role.Meanwhile, the "lock-in effect” is probably caused by changes of trade and export destination which decrease the impact of learning effect. In addition, owing to the variance on ownership enterprises and development mechanism, the impact of export mechanisms for innovation may be different. We divide the sample into three sub-sample,including private enterprises,state-owned and collective enterprises and foreign-funded and find that for different ownership enterprises, the effect of export on innovation is basically the same. Finally, enterprises innovation ability and enterprise performance inherent may also have an important impact on our conclusion,so its re-regression analysis does not change the conclusion.
