A Research On The Improvement Of Company G's Project Management

This paper takes the state-owned small company G in Southeast coastal area as the research object,because of the vague of strategic objective and the low project management level,the company's revenue highly dependent on the mayor's hotline operation,a single source of business after establishment over ten years.The policy adjustment of the mayor's hotline put company G in a severe condition.From the aspect of organizational project management and operational project management,the paper analyzes the current situation of company G 's project management,finds out the reason,and develop the project management impro,vement program,carries out the improvement measures,On the organizational level,the project management is improved by adjustment of the compan's strategic positioning,reconstruction of the organizational structure as well as optimization of the project management process;On the Operational level,optimization work was done through the development of the project management process specification template,establish the project success criteria,and optimize the multi-project resource assignment;And then use the G company's government information project as a case to illustrate the practical application of the project management improvement measures.Finally the paper evaluates the effectiveness by qualitative and quantitative indicators.By study we draw several conclusions.One of which is that the improvement of project management has two main aspects of organizational and operational,we should pay more attention to take project management as an organizational management business activities,while focusing on the ordinary operation of the project management.
