As a communication channel for informal organization,workplace gossip is found in every corner of the workplace.Workplace gossip can be divided into positive gossip and negative gossip.As wen wei Po reported,more than 60%of the employees thought negative workplace gossip(NWG)was unbearable.While there's not a lot of discussion about NWG.Therefore,considering the harmfulness and influence of gossip,our study selected NWG as the research object,to explore the formation mechanism of it,in order to provide guidance on reducing NWG and maintaining a harmonious working atmosphere.Considering the authentic leader is transparency?positive,our study intends to explore the effect of authentic leadership on NWG,and then introduce organizational justice as mediator to explore the internal mechanism of authentic leadership and NWG.As for moral courage,we take it as a moderator to explore the moderating effect of organizational justice on NWG.Hypothesis:(1)authentic leadership has a significant negative influence on NWG;(2)organizational justice mediates authentic leadership and NWG;(3)moral courage negatively moderates the relationship between organizational justice and NWG.We choose a large manufacturing enterprise located in Wenzhou as a sample,the conclusions are as follows:(1)authentic leadership effectively curbs NWG;(2)procedural justice,interpersonal justice and information justice mediate authentic leadership and NWG;(3)moral courage moderates the relationship between procedural justice and NWG.Innovations:(1)introducting authentic leadership to understand the mechanism of NWG;(2)understanding the psychological mechanism of NWG from the perspective of organizational justice;(3)subdividing organizational justice;(4)introducing moral courage as moderater;(5)innovating research methods.
