High tech industry has the characteristics of knowledge intensive,technology intensive and high value-added products.At present,high-tech industry has become an important strategic industry to promote economic development and enhance international competitiveness in China.The development of high-tech industry depends on the development of market economy.The market plays a heavy role in resource allocation,innovation factor flow,innovation achievement transformation and innovation environment improvement.There has been a lot of research on the market or high-tech industry innovation,and the research on the influence of marketization on innovation ability is relatively small.There are great differences in the degree of marketization in China's eastern and western regions.How does the marketization effect the innovation of high-tech industry? Is there a difference in the impact of marketization on the innovation of high-tech industries in different regions? These problems will be further discussed in this study.First of all,the author summarizes the relevant theories of market-oriented and hightech industry innovation and finds that there are differences between different scholars in view of the effect of marketization on the innovation effect of high-tech industries;secondly,the development of the market in eastern and western regions and the degree of high-tech industry are analyzed;thirdly,the evaluation system of innovation ability was established,based on the entropy method,the innovation ability of high-tech industries in eastern and western regions was measured.The differences in innovation ability between eastern and western regions were analyzed;Fourthly,in view of the promotion effect of marketization on the innovation ability of hi-tech industry in eastern and western regions of China,the author uses the panel data from 1997 to 2014 to conduct regression analysis based on Cobb-Douglas production function and verify the two hypotheses;finally,according to the main research conclusion of this paper,the policy is designed to promote the development of high-tech industry in the western region.Through the study of theoretical and empirical analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The marketization has a significant positive effect on the innovation ability of high-tech industry,and the improvement of marketization will promote the innovation capability of high-tech industries;(2)There are regional differences in the effect of marketization on the innovation ability of high-tech industries.The effect of marketization on the high-tech industry's innovation ability in the eastern region is higher than that in the western region.
