The southwestern region relies on the advantages of resource endowments to develop natural tourism,humanities,science and technology,and other types of tourism products.The scale of the tourism industry has increased dramatically and the tourism economy has grown rapidly.However,the tourism companies in the southwestern region have vicious price competition,forced or disguised forced consumption,have low quality of service,and provide homogenized products.Tourists are immature in consumer psychology and inappropriate in rights protection.The supervisory functions and means of the tourism market regulators are limited and the regulatory power is weak.The tourism market infrastructure is weak.These problems have caused the contradictions between the main body of the industry chain,the poor regional tourism image,and the disordered tourism market.The development of tourism in Sichuan,Yunnan,Guizhou,Chongqing,and Tibet is different,but overall there is a large space for development and there is a clear gap between tourism development in the eastern region.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study how to provide differentiated tourism products,how to realize the systematicization of tourism resources,how to standardize the tourism market,and how to enhance the tourism image.At present,domestic and foreign researches mainly focus on the concept,construction,integration,and extension of the industry chain.The industry chain involves multiple industries,the links are complex,the scope of each link is difficult to define accurately,and data acquisition is difficult.Therefore,quantitative research on the industry chain is difficult.Only a few scholars have qualitatively studied the mechanism of the impact of the industry chain on economic growth.However,there are still gaps in the field of empirical research.This study first refines the core elements of the tourism industry chain,and then empirically studies the impact of the tourism industry chain on economic growth in the Southwest China,which will provide empirical support for this field.The main contents of this study are as follows.First,based on the relevant research results,this study proposes basic assumptions.The innovation,location brand,tourism multiplier,transaction cost,and symbiosis model are the core factors of the tourism industry chain.The growth level and growth structure are used as secondary indicators of economic growth.On this basis,this study constructed a structural model and a measurement model of the impact of the core factors of the tourism industry chain in the Southwest on economic growth.Second,this study designed questionnaires and collected data to construct a structural equation model for studying the impact of the core factors of the tourism industry chain in the southwest on economic growth.Third,this study statistically analyzes the survey data,uses the software SPSS21.0 to test reliability and validity,and uses the software Amos22.0 to evaluate the suitability.Fourth,this study discusses the results and proposes countermeasures.Fifth,this study draws main conclusions,research insufficiency and outlook.This research uses the literature method to sort out the related research results of domestic and foreign industrial chains and economic growth.It uses survey method to collect 260 valid questionnaires.It uses structural equation modeling to empirically study the impact of tourism industry chain on economic growth in Southwest China.The main conclusions of this study are as follows.First,innovation in the tourism industry chain is inversely related to the level of economic growth and has a positive relationship with the structure of economic growth.Second,the brand in the tourism industry chain is positively related to the level of economic growth and has a positive relationship with the structure of economic growth.Third,the multiplier in the tourism industry chain is positively related to the level of economic growth and has a positive relationship with the economic growth structure.Fourth,the symbiotic model of the tourism industry chain has a positive relationship with the level of economic growth and has a positive relationship with the structure of economic growth.Fifth,transaction costs in the tourism industry chain are inversely related to the level of economic growth and have a negative relationship with the economic growth structure.Sixth,the location brand of the tourism industry chain is positively related to innovation.Seventh,the symbiosis model of the tourism industry chain is positively related to innovation.Eighth,the symbiosis mode of tourism industry chain is positively related to transaction costs.Ninth,the tourism industry chain multiplier is positively related to transaction costs.Finally,based on the above research results,this study puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on innovation of tourism industrial chain,location brand,tourism multiplier,symbiosis mode and transaction cost in Southwest China.In terms of innovation,the main body of the tourism industry chain must strengthen technological innovation,institutional innovation,and management innovation.In terms of location brand,the main body of the tourism industry chain must seize regional features to develop resources rationally,and strengthen brand positioning,design,marketing,development,and maintenance.In terms of tourism multipliers,the tourism industry chain must integrate with the three major industries and be integrated into the "Internet +" and big data.In terms of transaction costs,the main body of the tourism industry chain should reduce transaction frequency and transaction uncertainty.In the symbiosis mode,the tourism industry chain must strengthen systematization and informatization.The research innovation is as follows.The tourism industry chain in Southwest China is measured by five dimensions: innovation,location brand,tourism multiplier,transaction cost and symbiosis mode.The economic growth is measured in two dimensions: growth level and growth structure.This study uses structural equation model for empirical research.
