Research On Order Management Improvement In D Company

With the development of information technology,informatization,globalization and intelligence are affecting every aspects of our daily life.Customers hoping their requirement can be get response as soon as possible.In the past few years,the rapid development of computer manufacturing industry,in the face of rapid changes in the external environment,plunged into a general downturn.Competition among company is becoming more and more intense,with the gap of price difference and homogenization of products.Rapid response and improvement of customer experience are the most important ways for company to win the market share at this stage.This thesis took Company D as example to study the exiting issues of Order Management process by Internal Survey,workshop etc.Focusing on analyzing the problem of the order management process,and finding out the root cause from below 3 main issues,long processing time for issued orders,order hitting material shortage and not timely orders status feedback.Based in the process management improvement theory,using the method of ESIA and information technology,this thesis expounds the improvement program on the order management process of D company,so as to solve the practical problems in the process of order management,to better order fulfillment for customers and meet customer demands.The improvement program ultimately reduces the processing time of the issue orders,including the orders pending cancellation and invalid orders,reduces the influence of the material shortage on the cycle time,improves the accuracy of the shuttle commit data,and reduces the proportion of the overdue orders.This thesis combines theoretical knowledge with practice,it is operable and provides reference value for the order management process improvement of other manufacturing enterprises.
