China's Innovative Development And Influence Factors Of Currency Electronization

Many innovations on payment methods,consumption scenarios and business models are acted by third party payment institutions and commercial banks,together they promote the development of currency electronization in China.This paper looked into the concepts of currency electronization,electronic money and electronic payment,also discussed the measurement of currency electronization level.By theoretical analysis,this paper found out three main factors lead to currency electronization in China and tested them by building an econometric model: The development of mobile broadband and mobile payment,the infiltration of electronic payment into consumption scenarios,and the replacement of traditional money by electronic money.This paper showed that in the future,main development direction of currency electronization would be focus on further innovations on payment technologies and consumption scenarios,and proposed several suggestions on regulatory policy.
