| In recent years,the achievements of the reform and development of China’s large commercial banks have been highly evaluated by all walks of life.However,affected by the internal and external factors,the banking industry has incurred many the counter operational risk events,which seriously eroded of the operating results,and directly affected the operating efficiency of the entire industry.The Agricultural Bank of China is a well-known large state-owned commercial bank,which plays an important supporting role for China’s rural construction,the development of new urbanization and industrial economy since the reform and the opening-up.The Agricultural Bank of China has made remarkable achievements in recent years of development,but still has the counter operational risk that generally exists in China’s commercial banks,several cases of the counter operational risk events involving large amounts of funds and wide social impacts have occurred recently.Based on this situation,this thesis explores the counter operational risk management of the Agricultural Bank of China,expecting that through the analysis of the agricultural bank counter operational risk control mechanism we can,find out the problems existed in risk management,and put forward specific development proposals.This thesis first depicts the background and the significance followed by an overview of the operational risk management theory of commercial bank counter,which mainly expounds the meaning,origin and classification of operational risk management of commercial bank counter.Next,this thesis summarizes the useful experience of domestic and foreign commercial banks’ operation risk management.Through the analysis,we gain a deeper understanding of the problems in the Agricultural Bank of China counter operational risk management.Aimed at these operational vulnerabilities,we can create a centralized platform to prevent the potential risks for the Agricultural Bank of China.We also can provide the following suggestion and specific measures of improvements :putting more emphasis on the employee training,strengthening employees’ awareness of operational risks,utilizing diversified forms of training,paying attention to people-oriented management and improving the salary guarantee mechanism,optimizing the internal operational process,preventing the risk with the aid of the technology and science. |
