Financial Analysis Of C&D Under The Harvard Analysis Framework

In recent years,the financial analysis of listed companies has become a hot topic in academic and practical research,especially that the socialist market economic system has been further establishedsince the 18 th CPC National Congress.State-owned listed companies have become deeper and deeper involved in market competition,whose financial ability requirements are also gradually increased.Xiamen is one of the first batch of SEZs to open to the outside world.Since the reform and opening up,the state-owned enterprises represented by the C&D Co.,Ltd.have been implementing the reform of the economic structure,opening up more to the outside world.However,how to grasp the position of state-owned listed companies in the new era,and how to give play to the role of state-owned economy under the downward pressure of economy,so as to continue to promote the development of regional economy as the growth engine of the national economy are worth to discuss and ponder over.The financial analysis of state-owned listed companies is the basis and core of this issue.Based on this background,this paper chooses C&D as the research object,takes the internationally accepted Harvard Analysis Framework as the research tool,and makes appropriate horizontal comparison with another reference in the industry—Zhejiang East.Zhejiang East,located in the developed eastern region,is a major domestic listed company,whose business involves real estate development and operation and supply chain management and operation,therefore it's meaningful to make a comparison between these two companies.This comparison aims to comprehensively,systematically and deeply analyze the business conditions of C&D,especially its financial status,so as to provide the financial report users with more comprehensive,and valuable information for the research and analysis of the same type of enterprises appropriate reference.This paper uses the Harvard Analysis Framework to analyze the financial of C&D.Its significance is reflected in two aspects.Theoretically,the Harvard Analysis Framework is still in the initial stage of domestic use at present.Relevant workers arenot satisfied with the essence and analyticalthinking of the framework understanding and mastery compared with foreign counterparts.There is still a certain gap;therefore,this paper aims at further enriching the use of Harvard Analysis Framework,also provide useful guidance and reference for similaranalysis of enterprises.Practically,the financial analysis of state-owned listed companies has always been the focus of society,especially that the discussions on the profitability,transformation space and development potential of state-owned enterprises have never ceased.The state-owned enterprises have a large volume and strong influence and have played an important role in the economic development of the region.Therefore,with the Harvard Analysis Framework,it is necessary to systematize the financial analysis from the inside and outside,financial data and non-data information in all directions,angles and depths.It is necessary to improve the management ability of state-owned listed companies which is meaningful for their transformation and upgrading.
