Fromm's Critical Theory Of Capitalism

Eyerich Fromm is a famous psychologist,philosopher and sociologist in the 20 th century.He is also a western Marxist,one of the main representatives of Frankfurt School and the founder of New Freud School.In his life,he created many theories that are worthy of our reference and cause us to think.This article focuses on his critical thought of capitalism.Fromm's critical thought mainly focuses on many loopholes in modern western capitalist society.From a new perspective,there are still many problems in our society that need to be solved urgently.This is also the original intention of this paper to study Fromm's critical thought.This paper tries its best to show Fromm's critical theory of capitalism from three aspects:the proposal of Fromm's critical theory of capitalism,the main connotation and influence of the critical theory of capitalism,and the significance of Fromm's critical theory of capitalism.This article focuses on Fromm's criticism of western capitalism and his reverie and realization of building a sound society.In Fromm's point of view,modern capitalism seems to be prosperous and prosperous,but through the phenomenon,it exists as a morbid society.The alienation of people and society has developed to a very serious situation.Fromm criticized the alienation of production process,consumption and social relations.At the same time Fromm put forward the idea of "a sound society" according to the problems brought about by the morbid society.Fromm transformed the capitalist society from four aspects of psychology,economy,politics and culture to build a sound society.However,Fromm's ideal world is too beautiful,just like a utopia,and there are some shortcomings in theory.However,Marx's and Freud's views have been sublimated here.Fromm's social critical theory has experienced the development of western capitalism,deeply studied and analyzed the western society,and answered the basic problems people face in today's society.Through the study of Fromm's critical theory of capitalism,we find that his critical theory is also worthy of reference in China today.China today lacks a lot in economy,politics and spirit.What cannot be ignored during the construction of these aspects is the richness of the spiritual world,which also provides a way to avoid risks for China's development.
