| With the development of the Internet,the competition in the field of broadband is increasingly fierce.The three major domestic operators have started the trend of price reduction in response to the national policy of"speed up and cost reduce".As a private broadband operating enterprise,Founder Company’s original cost and price advantage has been lost in this price reduction trend,which result in the sharp decline in operating profit.However,in recent years,the advent of the era of big data has injected a shot of "booster" into the Internet industry.As a pri-vate operator,Founder Company sees such opportunities,and hopes to take advantage of the opportunities in order to combine the original business to achieve self-breakthrough.At the same time,Founder Company wants to help the whole struggle second-tier operators to explore a suitable way for their own transformation.According to the research topic,this thesis elaborates the relevant theories and research methods firstly.In the third and fourth parts,this thesis analyzes the external and internal environment of Founder Company.In the analysis of the external environment,this thesis analyzes the external macro-environment and industrial environment with PEST analysis method,draws the conclusion of the life cycle within broadband industry,and combines the characteristics of the era of big data to find opportunities and challenges brought by the external environment to enterprises.In the internal environment analysis,this thesis analyzes the business characteristics and team advantages of Founder Company from the aspects of business and team resources,which finds the strength that the company’s strategic transformation can rely on.In the fifth part,this thesis uses SWOT matrix analysis to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Founder Company,and scores the businesses as well.The analysis results are used to select star businesses based on the principle of Boston matrix.At the same time,a comprehensive analysis of the strategy that the star business adopted draws the conclusion of the differentiation strategy,and gives suggestion on implementation from business,service,marketing,and management.Finally,through the guarantee of strategy implementation,we hope to help the company transform successfully,and provide theoretical and practical reference for the transformation of similar companies. |
