Along with cross-border e-commerce has gradually become a new growth point for China's economy,overseas warehouse,as an innovative mode of cross-border logistics,has become a choice for more and more cross-border e-commerce practitioners who are aimed to enhance their international competitiveness.The biggest risk of this mode is that it will lead to the backlog of goods or out of stock,and the company's capital flow will be heavily occupied.Therefore,how to improve the inventory control capacity under the overseas warehouse mode is an urgent issue for cross-border e-commerce companies.X company is an export cross-border e-commerce provider that uses Amazon's overseas warehouse services to sell luggage products.At present,it still uses the general experienced ordering quantity of cross-border e-commerce industry under overseas warehouses mode.The company's ordering happened casually only when certain types of commodities may be out of stock.Since the company lack of a scientifically effective ordering plan,it has high inventory level and low inventory turnover rate.Therefore,the key to improve its inventory control capacity is to get the best ordering time and quantity in combination with the characteristics of overseas warehouses.This paper will aim at X company's ordering optimization under the overseas warehouse mode.Firstly,analyze the research status and development trends of domestic and foreign ordering models based on the extensive data collection.Analyze the company's problems in the ordering process under overseas warehouse mode.Then,establish two ordering models combined with the characteristics of the X company's overseas warehouse ordering.One is established considering the container volume,minimum ordering pallet quantity and purchase capital limit under time-varying demand.Another one is established combined with the random fuzzy arrival rate and considered the uncertainty of supplier arrival quantity.Meanwhile,design a genetic algorithm with penalty strategy and repair strategy based on the characteristics of these two models.Finally,substitute actual data of X company into the model and use MATLAB to get the optimal ordering quantity and ordering cycle under the minimum inventory cost.Compare optimization results with the company's existing ordering plan,and find out that the ordering model established in this paper can effectively help the company reduce the average inventory level and improve their capital turnover rate.Furthermore,explore the key factor affecting the ordering cost by the parameter sensitivity analysis.Find out that controlling the storage cost of overseas warehouses was the key measure to reduce ordering cost and propose the idea to improve the ordering plan for X company.
