The "Made in China 2025" program requires China's manufacturing industry to gradually achieve digital,networked,and intelligent.Manufacturing service industry has thus become an important channel and a significant trend in the current manufacturing industry.At the same time,intellectual capital has increasingly become an important strategic factor in the realization of service industry.By studying the role of intellectual capital in the creation of service-oriented value in manufacturing,it is beneficial to make full use of intellectual capital and provide reference for other manufacturing industries with service transformation plans.Through the case study method,this paper selects Qingdao Haier,a manufacturing service representative enterprise with long transformation history,perfect data retention and universal recognition,as the research object.From the perspective of intellectual capital as a whole,this paper studies its function mechanism in the service value creation of Qingdao Haier manufacturing industry and evaluates its effect.The research in this paper finds that Haier's intellectual capital has greatly promoted the value creation of manufacturing service,and achieved four related results:Firstly,intellectual capital plays a role through three aspects:human capital,structural capital and relational capital.For human capital as a source of value,structural capital transforms value,and finally realizes value application through relational capital.The three are coupled to integrate technology,products,management and market in the value chain,and finally extend it to both ends of the smile curve.Value Creation;Secondly,Haier's manufacturing service value creation behavior is manifested in the formation and management of intellectual capital to ensure the formation of the service-oriented "three-oriented" strategy,and then through the coupling of intellectual capital elements to promote the "three-oriented" strategy to effectively implement,and ultimately Realize service value creation;Thirdly,through comparison with Changhong Meiling's DuPont analysis,Haier improved its financial performance through manufacturing service,broke through the development dilemma of the home appliance industry,and at the same time improved environmental and social values and achieved sustainable value creation;Fourthly,Haier's service value creation still needs to be improved in terms of profitability,asset use efficiency and debt repayment.This paper points out several shortcomings of Haier in the development and management of intellectual capital.In summary,if China's manufacturing industry wants to successfully transform into service,it should strengthen the management of various elements of intellectual capital,coordinate the development of various factors,and make it play a huge potential in the service strategy,thereby promoting the creation of service value and accelerating manufacturing in China and breaking through the survival dilemma.
