As the fast development of China's economy,the scale and business amount of commercial banks have been developing rapidly.With the deep adjustment of China's economic structure,the economic has entered a new normal.As a result,non-performing loans in banking area occur frequently and the asset quality is under severe test.Under the circumstances,commercial banks are keen to establish a scientific credit rating system to identify the customers' credit and provide the basis of credit policies.Hence,the security and profitability of credit assets have been promoted.Above all,the establishment of a scientific,efficient and standardized customer credit rating system would make great practical sense.Firstly,this paper expounds the background and significance,also analyses the research history and current research of the credit rating system at home and abroad,briefing the research contents,methods and the concept of credit rating,and stating the requirements of Basel agreement on credit rating,with introducing the current major credit rating model AHP.Secondly,combining with the practical work experience,this paper introduces the indexes,work procedures and management regulations of the customer credit rating system of E bank,and analyzing the existing problems and reasons.And according to the AHP model,the paper puts forward improving measures of the customer credit rating system of E bank.Finally,this paper selects a specific enterprise as the case,comparing the results of improved credit rating system and the previous one,and also points out that the improved credit rating system is more scientific and effective.This paper uses the scientific AHP model to solve some of the problems of credit rating system of E bank,in order to improve the risk management ability of E bank.I suppose this paper would make some references to other banks with similar problems.
