The rapid development of the Internet has greatly promoted the growth of China's economy.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the network letter business represents a new productive force and a new development direction.It is necessary to develop a digital economy around building a modern economic system and achieving high-quality development.The Internet is the representative of new technologies.The development of the Internet has spawned new economic development models such as the Internet economy,the sharing economy,and the digital economy.The data show that in 2017,China's digital economy reached 27.2 trillion yuan,accounting for 32.9% of GDP.On the other hand,the Internet also plays an important role in building a well-off society in an all-round way and realizing rural revitalization.In 2017,the employment of the digital economy reached 171 million people.The development of the Internet has broadened the employment channels of people.The promotion of people's income and the stability of employment,the Internet is subtly changing the face of social development.This paper starts from the perspective of rural Internet use,studies the impact of Internet use on farmers' income,and promotes network poverty alleviation.The research is mainly carried out from the following aspects: Firstly,on the basis of sorting out related research on income and other aspects of the Internet at home and abroad,a related review is carried out.Secondly,it describes the development status of the Internet in the sample village,which is mainly divided into the status of Internet infrastructure construction and the use and popularity of the Internet.The use and popularity of the Internet in the sample village are from gender,age,education level and out-of-town.The out-of-workforce is described in four angles.Finally,the OLS model and PSM analysis method are used to empirically analyze the impact of Internet usage on farmers' income,and propose relevant policy recommendations.The research on the Internet is mainly concentrated in urban areas,and there are few studies on the benefits of Internet use in rural areas.This paper uses the Social Survey Data of 15 Rural Areas in the Poverty Counties of Gansu Province in the ?Precision Poverty Alleviation and Regional Development Research Center? of Northwest Normal University in 2017.The empirical analysis phase uses OLS regression and PSM analysis methods.The conclusions of the study mainly include the following aspects: First,the use of the Internet can significantly increase the income of farmers by nearly 1,700 yuan.Therefore,vigorously promoting the Internet popularization in rural areas is conducive to the realization of network poverty alleviation;secondly,the factors affecting the use of the Internet by farmers are mainly the characteristics of farmers and the factors of the family.These are the age of the head of the household,the level of education,the health status,and the political appearance of the head of the household,whether the family size of the household and the family have major events.Third,non-agricultural employment is the main way for the Internet to affect the income of farmers.The Internet can break through the limitations of time and space and accelerate the dissemination of information,which is conducive to the matching of employment supply and employment demand.Fourth,social capital is an important way for Internet use to affect farmers' income.Fifth,the Internet has great potential for increasing the income of non-agricultural businesses.
