| The research on industrial diversification has always been concerned by the academic circles,but previous research have paid more attention to comparing the effects of industrial specialization and industrial diversification on economy and innovation,there has been little research on the effect of industry-related and unrelated diversification on economic rise.From the perspective of regional differences,this paper discusses the effect and difference of industry-related and unrelated diversification on economic rise in the east-central-west regions,and discusses the economic reasons behind it,which is the main problem to be solved in this paper,can helps to put forward suitable suggestions for the optimal development of industrial diversification in different regions.Firstly,this paper theoretically analyzes the mechanism of related and unrelated industrial diversified affect the regional economic rise,and analyzes the mechanism of industry-related diversification to promote economic rise from two aspects of economic value added enhancement and technological innovation,from the enhancement of anti-risk ability and provision of diversified employment opportunities two aspects analysis of industry-unrelated diversification to promote economic rise mechanism.And then takes the 4 large sectors composed of 19 small sectors in the 2008-2016 except Tibet as the research object,by distinguishing between related and unrelated industrial diversified,this paper makes a statistical analysis on the characteristics of the related and unrelated industries diversification of China.Finally,the panel data model is constructed.The difference between industry-related and unrelated diversification on the role of economic rise in the eastern and western regions is studied,and the results show that the overall diversification and related diversification of eastern and central industries can promote economic rise,but industry-unrelated diversification hinders economic rise,and in terms of coefficient values,the effect coefficient of related diversification in the central region is smaller than that in the east,indicating that the contribution of related diversification to economic rise in the central region is smaller than that in the east,while the effect coefficient of unrelated diversification in thecentral region is greater than that of the east,indicating that unrelated diversification has a greater impediment to economic rise in the central region than in east;Unlike the eastern and central regions,related and unrelated industry diversification estimation coefficients are not significantly negative,which indicates that the industrial diversification in the western region of China does not have the conditions of significant impact on the level of economic rise. |
