The application of incomplete contract theory in the field of international trade makes up for the assumption that the implementation of contracts in traditional trade theory is completely efficient, ignoring the shortcomings of widespread trade friction, from the field of institutional economics research and international trade. In the context of the current unstable situation in the Gulf, the slow progress of the China-GCC free trade agreement negotiations, and the development of the "Belt and Road" initiative,it is necessary to explore the impact of contract execution efficiency on the structure of import and export trade from the perspective of incomplete contract theory and reduce trade friction, continued and stable bilateral trade. On the basis of summarizing the relevant literature research, this paper conducts theoretical analysis, selects the contract execution efficiency composed of the contract dispute processing time, cost, judicial quality and other indicators as the core explanatory variables, and explores its influence mechanism on the structure of import and export trade.Based on the panel data of China's import and export trade to the six countries of the Gulf, the proportion of primary product imports, the proportion of exports, the proportion of imports of manufactured goods, and the proportion of exports are used as explanatory variables, and the empirical analysis method is used to study the efficiency of contract implementation in the six countries. The results show that:(1)The efficiency of contract execution has a significant positive impact on the proportion of primary products imported and the proportion of finished products exports, and has a significant negative impact on the proportion of primary products exports and the proportion of manufactured goods imports.(2)The effect of contract execution efficiency on the structure of import and export trade of primary products is greater than the impact on the structure of import and export trade of manufactured goods;the effect of contract execution efficiency on the structure of import trade is greater than the impact on the structure of export trade. The significance of this paper is based on the theory of incomplete contract, and chooses the efficiency of contract execution as an explanatory variable to study its influence on the structure of import and export trade. It theoretically enriches the application of incomplete contract theory in the field of international trade.Secondly,it also passes the research results. It is concluded that the efficiency of contract execution in China's influence on the import and export trade structure of the six Gulf States and the impact on different types of products are the reduction of China's import and export trade frictions to the six Gulf States and the guarantee of the interests of both parties and the continuous stability.Bilateral trade activities propose policy recommendations. The main recommendations include:strengthening the communication and coordination mechanism between China and the six Gulf countries, attaching importance to creating a good international business environment, and accelerating the transformation of industrial structure. The main progress of follow-up research is:broadening contract execution. The cross-section selection of the impact of efficiency on the structure of import and export trade and the application of other contract execution efficiency in the field of international trade, such as the impact of research on the choice of enterprises' foreign investment methods, the impact of corporate transnational strategic choices, and the impact on the efficiency of contract execution.
