Research On The Application Of EVA In The Performance Evaluation Of Harbin Bank

With the development of the times,modern enterprises are also following the trend of change.People's management concepts have also changed.Relevant stakeholders have reached a consensus to a certain extent on the phenomenon of " maximizing enterprise value".However,the traditional financial evaluation index does not deduct the equity capital of the enterprise.In addition,it is also easy for managers to manipulate accounting statements,which is an invisible constraint on the accounting system.Therefore,the company's ability to create value cannot be reasonably explained.EVA(Economic Value Added),as a performance evaluation index,measures the real profits generated by the enterprise rather than the accounting profits in our traditional sense.It measures the value of the remaining part of the net operating profit after adjustment after deducting all capital costs(equity capital and debt capital)and is considered relatively comprehensively.In addition,EVA plays a guiding role in the decision-making of enterprises to a certain extent,and it also plays a role in uniting shareholders,managers and employees.At present,EVA is no longer only a simple performance evaluation index,but also a value management systemBased on the calculation of the EVA of Harbin Bank from 2015 to 2017,we can get some information about the real performance of Harbin Bank in the past three years.At the same time,after comparing it with traditional financial indicators,we analyze to some extent the specific advantages of EVA as a performance evaluation system.After that,three other representative city commercial banks in the same industry were selected as representatives to conduct EVA comparative analysis with Harbin Bank to objectively locate Harbin Bank's industry position.In the end,this paper aims at finding solutions of Harbin Bank.
