Dynamic Analysis Of The Level Of Regional Economic Development In China

40 years of reform and opening up,our country has achieved remarkable success in economic development and social construction,and gradually getting rid of the dilemma of weak economic foundation and inefficient production.While enjoying the increasingly fruitful results of development,the economic disparity between regions has also been further widened.In order to evaluate the differences of the economic development levels of 31 provinces and cities in our country,this paper reconstructs the index system of economic development level from three aspects of economy,society and environment.Then from the perspective of clustering,a moving average K-means clustering method is introduced to explore the dynamic characteristics of regional economic development in two dimensions of time and space,and the results of empirical analysis have certain theoretical reference value for our country to solve the imbalance of regional economic development.This article firstly defines the core analysis method of research questions,namely the moving average K-means clustering method,and mainly includes the K-means clustering panel data,the inter-area similarity measure function,the method of determining the optimal number of clusters and the clustering results of the type of discrimination methods etc.Based on this,the definition of moving average clustering method,the algorithm of moving average clustering method based on K-means clustering and the method of parameter solving are given.Then,reconstructed the index system of economic development,and analyzes the dynamic changes of regional economic development in our country.Through in-depth understanding of research issues,three economic quality-related indicators of environmental protection has creatively included in the evaluation system of economic development level.And on the basis of missing value processing,single indicator trend change analysis,index forecast and factor analysis,combined with the moving average K-means clustering analysis and nearest neighbor discriminant analysis,this paper has analyzed the change of regional economic development level in time and space.The result of empirical analysis shows that the level of regional economic development in our country shows obvious right-deviation distribution.Unbalanced development of regional economy is mainly at the significant differences between High/High-Medium/Lower level of regional economic development.Although the overall level of regional economic development is on the rise,but the imbalanced economic development among regions has not been significantly improved.According to the results of empirical analysis,this study holds that to solve the imbalance of regional development in our country,we should start from three aspects include improving the awareness of changing the face of economically backward areas,strengthening opening up to the outside world,promoting regional economic exchange.
