The division of the global value chain has become one of the main forms of international division of labor. The degree of benefit of a country in economic globalization is increasingly dependent on the degree of participation in the global value chain.Under the background of the adjustment of the global economic structure and the reshaping of the international division of labor system, the status of countries in the division of labor is also constantly changing. The vigorous implementation of the “Belt and Road” Initiative has put forward new requirements for the construction of a global value chain division system for countries along the “Belt and Road”.Studying the status and influencing factors of the global value chain of countries along the “Belt and Road”can not only clarify the current status of division of labor, but also whether China has an absolute “dominant” advantage when participating in the global value chain division of labor. And it is also clear that the factors affecting the status of the global value chain of each country have important theoretical and practical significance for China to climb the global value chain division of labor in the new era. This paper draws on the research of Hausmann et al.(2005),Qiu Bin et al.(2012),Dai Xiang et al.(2015),Sun Shaoqin et al.(2018),and uses the export sophistication to reflect the status of a country in the global value chain division, and draws on Hausmann et al.(2005),the method of measuring the export sophistication. From the product level and the national level,it analyzes the status of global value chain status of countries along the “Belt and Road” and finds that the global value chain division status of countries along the “Belt and Road”has climbed, but the overall technical level is low, when participating in the global, the value chain division is still in the "low-end" link.Based on the comparison of China's status of division of labor along the “Belt and Road” countries,it is found that China's global value chain division of labor has improved rapidly, but it does not have an absolute “dominant” advantage in the countries along the “Belt and Road”.It is necessary to continuously improve the technical level and increase the technical content of export products.Drawing on the “cost discovery” model,it theoretically analyzes the factors that promote the division of labor in the global value chain when measuring the division of labor in the global value chain with the export sophistication. The discovery of a country's internal and external intellectual capital and other capital that promotesknowledge accumulation will affect the division of labor in global value chains. Two theoretical hypotheses are put forward, that is,human capital and technological innovation can promote the division of labor in the global value chain, and the deepening of the division of labor within the product will also promote the division of labor in the global value chain. The comprehensive FGLS and system GMM are used to empirically test the multinational panel data, and it is found that human capital and technological innovation in internal knowledge will promote the promotion of division of labor, but the promotion of technological innovation has not been fully exerted. The deepening of the division of labor within the product will indeed benefit the rise of the status of a country's global value chain. Then follow the principle of “from general to special”,the Grey System Theory is used to analyze the correlation between various factors and China's global value chain division of labor, and based on the degree of correlation between the two,the policy implications of China's promotion of the global value chain division of labor are proposed. The transformation of the traditional trade participation model, the gradual improvement of the current division of labor, the role-driven role, the acceleration of industrial upgrading and the improvement of the quality of the system began to gradually improve the technical content of goods trade and climb the global value chain division of labor.
