Comprehensive Financial Analysis Of Muyuan Shares Based On The Harvard Analysis Framework

With the development of economy and society,the production level of pig farming in China has been greatly improved,and it is moving towards the direction of intensive,specialized and industrialized.As the leading enterprise of modern pig breeding industry,Mu yuan Food Co.,Ltd.has been expanding in scale since its listing,and the number of live pigs has steadily ranked in the forefront of the industry.But at the same time of high-speed development,it also faces the problems of large fluctuation of performance,high expansion cost and low added value of products.It is necessary to make a comprehensive analysis of the company's current situation and put forward reasonable suggestions through effective financial analysis means.In view of the limitation of traditional financial statement analysis method,which mainly focuses on quantitative analysis of data and weakens other non-financial information.Taking Mu yuan Food Co.,Ltd.as an example,this paper uses the Harvard analytical framework to analyze the company from four aspects: strategy,accounting,finance and prospects,and makes a comprehensive evaluation of the company and puts forward pertinent suggestions.Among them,strategic analysis analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the entire industry and the advantages and disadvantages of the company from the perspective of macro environment,industry competition and internal company;Accounting analysis is based on the accounting policies and accounting estimates of several important items to detect the reliability of the data preparation basis of financial statements;Financial analysis is based on the key indicators in the financial statements to analyze the company's debt service,operation,profitability and other capabilities;Prospect analysis is based on the first three aspects,the industry prospect analysis and the company's performance in the next two years to make a concrete forecast.Finally,some reasonable suggestions are given to solve the problems which have been found in the analysis.This paper draws the following conclusions through analysis:In terms of strategy,the company should diversify its business and extend its industrial chain downstream to increase the added value of products while resisting the risk of fluctuation of pork prices;In terms of accounting treatment,the company's accounting information quality is generally high,but there are also insufficient prudence in preparing for impairment of biological assets and too short depreciation period of fixed assets.In terms of financial indicators,the company has strong profitability in the same industry,but the expansion of production capacity under the heavy asset model brings greater pressure on capital cost;In terms of prospects,the price of pigs will recover in the next two years,and the company will have better performance due to the scale effect.
