Research On The Interconnection Between China And West Asian Countries Under "The Belt And Road" Initiative

As an important node of"the Belt and Road Initiative ",West Asia is located at the the intersection of Asia,Europe and Africa.Being "The Belt and Road "confluence,it's also the primary strategic region for China to develop from east to west.At the same time,as the"world oil treasure house"of West Asia,the investment and trade cooperation potential between China and West Asia will be strengthened through the effective play of "The Belt and Road"platform.Interconnection is the trend of the times and the common needs of all countries in the world."The Belt and Road"relates to economic and trade cooperation,transportation,logistics,information infrastructure interoperability and so on.The interconnection cooperation is the most important to deepen the cooperation between China and West Asian countries.To push on the formation of regional infrastructure,basic industries and infrastructure market,thereby to promote broad interoperability and to establish the new paradigm of cooperative diversity in the world economic development,it will bring great benifit to the regions and countries along"The Belt and Road".Therefore,the research on the interconnection between China and West Asia is of great theoretical and practical significance.First of all,the connotation,characteristic and realistic meaning of "the Belt and Road"strategy between China and West Asian countries was studied.Taking 19 West Asian countries as the research object,this paper analyzed five aspects of the interconnection state of policy,trade,capital,infrastructure and people,which establish the basis of this research;secondly,taking trade as the example,this paper made an empirical analysis on the interconnection between China and West Asian countries,on the basis of constructing trade facilitation index system and using principal component analysis method to measure the bilateral trade facilitation level,the influence of four trade facilitation index to bilateral trade flows was calculated by the gray correlation model,which verify the realistic foundation and development potential of the interoperability between China and West Asian countries under"the Belt and Road Initiative";finally,on the basis of the above analysis and combining the results of empirical analysis,the policy suggestions were put forward from five aspects of politics,finance,trade,infrastructure and culture to promote bilateral interconnection.
