Visual Preference Of Ecological Landscape Based On Visitor's Perception

With the acceleration of urbanization,material construction has been expanded,and a large number of scenic natural landscapes have been destroyed.As people's requirements to aesthetics is improved,the most important aspect of the landscape's development and construction project is to master and scientifically evaluate tourists' visual landscape preference and maximize tourists' satisfaction.This study focusing on ecological landscape puts forward the evaluation index of visual aesthetics.In order to obtain tourists' perception of the landscape,aesthetics evaluation of the landscape and the evaluation of visual landscape preference,methods such as field observation,questionnaire interview and photo evaluation were used in the study.Furthermore,qualitative analysis,factor analysis and correlation analysis were applied to study the relationship between landscape aesthetics index and visual landscape preference.Based on the comparison of two cases of the same type,this paper was conducted to elaborate the relationship between the perception of landscape and aesthetic evaluation,the evaluation of landscape preference,and its relationship between aesthetic indicators.The results showed that:(1)Aesthetic evaluation of visual landscape is composed of six indicators:management,interference,historical culture,complexity,naturalness and variability.(2)The tourists' preference of visual landscape can be classified into three categories.(3)Tourists prefer landscape with spacious visual field.(4)There is a certain correlation between tourist visual landscape preference and demographic characteristics.Tourist's visual landscape preference is more relevant with age,occupation and education level,but there is no significant correlation with gender and source of tourists.(5)There is a correlation between visual landscape preference and landscape aesthetic indicator.The comprehensive evaluation of landscape preference and indicators of landscape aesthetics showed a significant correlation in the 0.01 level.(6)Tourists'recognition of the visual landscape with ecological function was respectively high.The innovation of this study is to focus on the ecological landscape,based on the common indicators of visual features and ecological function and combining with demographic characteristics and behavior characteristics of preference for subjects and objects,from the perspective of tourists' perception to investigate visual landscape preference;In addition,integrating ecological and visual function contributes to construct evaluation index system of aesthetic,so it can be used as reference for empirical research.Furthermore,the paper summarizes results of the aesthetic index and the evaluation of landscape preference,and the conclusion is pertinent and referential.
