China's FDI is crucial to the economic development of African countries.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,especially in the past decade,China's economy has grown rapidly,becoming the world's second largest economic power and the world's largest exporter.At the same time,it is also the time when China's FDI is booming.The speed of China's FDI is constantly accelerating and the amount of capital is constantly increasing.At present,China's FDI has ranked fourth in the world and become a major capital exporter.At the same time,as a friendly partner of African countries and a major country of direct investment in Africa,China's direct investment in Africa is also undergoing tremendous changes.In 2017,China invested $4.1 billion directly in Africa,which not only boosted the economic development of African countries,but also solved a series of social problems of African host countries,such as poverty,health and security issues and infrastructure construction.The impact of China's direct investment on Africa's economic development and the state of development are crucial to the future of African countries and the development direction of China's direct investment in Africa.Therefore,this paper attempts to study the changes in the flow and stock of China's direct investment in Africa and the impact of direct investment on the development of African countries on the basis of the study on China's direct investment in African countries in the past decade,and puts forward specific suggestions.This paper is divided into four parts and analyzes China's direct investment in African countries.The first part of this paper is the relevant theoretical introduction,which briefly introduces the endogenous economic growth theory and its model,as well as the endogenous growth theory after adding the FDI factor,in addition to the relevant theories of international direct investment.The second part introduces and analyzes the current situation of China's direct investment in Africa,analyzes the reasons for China's direct investment in Africa and the characteristics of its current development,and makes a specific analysis through relevant data.The third part is the empirical analysis of the impact of China's direct foreign investment on African economic development,using data model for empirical test and analysis,and quantitative test.The fourth part is theconclusion and policy Suggestions.Firstly,it summarizes the empirical analysis part of the article,and then puts forward feasible policy Suggestions on the future Chinese direct investment in Africa from the perspective of the Chinese government and African countries respectively.
