With the new situation of economic globalization together with the development and increment of the international political situation, the development of politics and economy in Africa is getting more and more attention of the world. From the point of view of economic development, Africa has a very large potential market with its abundant land resources and agricultural resources, rich underground mineral resources and unique cultural landscape and tourism resources, these rich resources are essential for the development of Africa’s economy in the future. In addition, Africa as a commodity in the world as origin of raw materials, sales market, and capital of the world places to invest, strategically, its position has become increasingly important. From the perspective of political development, the peace and development of the African countries and the international community have gradually become the mainstream, the political situation is relatively stable overall trend, which provides a solid foundation for the Sino African political and economic friendly exchanges.China Africa friendship has a long history, the foundation is solid. Which have been struggling for national liberation, there is no similar historical experience, and in the struggle for national liberation has always been mutual sympathy and mutual support, a deep friendship.With the above background, this paper mainly studies the following problems: The main Role of merchants in the china African cooperation; The China Africa cooperation in bringing opportunities to reduce poverty, promote development in order to achieve long-term development goals; African merchants to China is mainly urban bound. Although Africans have moved to many of the major cities in China, Guangzhou, Yiwu, Hong Kong, and Macao have received the largest numbers of Africans. As the location of the China Import and Export Fair, Guangzhou has traditionally been a focal point for traders; Most Chinese in Africa today are temporary migrants. They are employees of Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and independent Chinese companies. However, there are increasingly larger numbers of independent merchant arriving in Africa seeking economic opportunities.This paper is divided into this six following chapters:the first chapter summarizes the research background, research significance, research methods, the paper makes a detailed review of the relevant literature on the economic and trade relations between China and Africa, and the innovation points and deficiencies of this paper. The second chapter describes the theoretical basis of the Sino African Economic and trade relations and made an evaluation. The third chapter summarizes the changes and characteristics of the Sino African Economic and trade relations in different historical stages. The fourth chapter analyzes the relevant factors of the development of the non-economic and trade relations, and discusses the response of the European and American trade, and how to ensure that the non-trade advantage, in addition, this chapter also analyzes the development performance of non-economic relations through empirical studies in North Africa. The fifth chapter puts forward the opportunities and challenges of Sino African Economic and trade relations, especially the impact on Africa and Europe and the United States. The sixth chapter puts forward the development strategy and the prospect of the future.
