Research On The Evaluation System Of International Competitiveness Of Commercial Banks

In 2018,the tenth anniversary of the outbreak of the international financial crisis,the global banking industry has basically returned to a healthy development track,and the overall competition pattern has been greatly adjusted.In the past decade,the world economy has been deeply adjusted,science and technology finance has been heating up,the rise of China's banking industry,a series of political and economic events have affected the development strategies and behaviors of commercial banks in various countries,and they have continuously impacted their competition in the international market.In this environment,in order to clarify their own development shortcomings,summarize the inheritance strategic experience and keep good and long-lasting international competitiveness,it is essential for commercial banks to construct a scientific and practical evaluation system of commercial banks' international competitiveness,and deeply explore their relevant decisive factors to correctly understand their current development status and market position.The whole research consists of the following parts: The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the background,significance and related theoretical research of the article,explains the research ideas,methods and innovations.The second part is the analysis of the factors affecting the international competitiveness of commercial banks.This paper first defines the connotation of commercial banks' international competitiveness,and analyzes the current global commercial bank competition pattern.On this basis,it explores the influencing factors of commercial banks' international competitiveness and constructs a “ threedimensional” evaluation system for commercial banks' international competitiveness.The third part is the empirical research on the international competitiveness of commercial banks.Based on the system constructed in the second part,we select five large commercial banks in China and 17 foreign systemically important banks abroad as samples and score and rank the international competitiveness of specific commercial banks by factor analysis.The fourth part is the evaluation and comparative analysis of the international competitiveness of Chinese and foreign commercial banks.Based on the third part of the empirical results,this paper evaluates and contrasts the international competitiveness of Chinese and foreign commercial representative commercial banks from four levels,clarifies the current development of international competitiveness of Chinese banks and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of specific indicators.The fifth part is the conclusions and suggestions,summarizes the main contents of the article,and proposes corresponding suggestions on improving the international competitiveness of Chinese commercial banks from the aspects of strengthening asset quality management,promoting financial innovation and rational internationalization strategy.
