As the country’s largest bank, Postal savings bank of China providing network services to hundreds of millions of customers, the development of postal savings bank has an important influence to the development and stability of the country’s financial market. Especially the basis of the way through the postal services continue to play a huge network advantages and cost advantages, the development of rural and remote areas of savings and remittance business, has become one of the most important rural financial services institutions. Postal savings bank is not only the development of the rural market itself, the development of the enterprise is also for the whole process of the rural financial service quality.In the current domestic economy is still in the stage of slow recovery, under the background of interest rate marketization accelerating, if looking for new business growth point, to the thorough transformation of the modern business, to the post office bank prudent management and stable development has the vital significance.In this article, through the postal savings bank and other big state-owned Banks, comparing the important business data by using the theory of core competence and SWOT analysis state postal savings bank competitiveness. From the comparison with other commercial Banks, postal savings bank’s competitiveness, there is still a gap with other five commercial Banks. The postal savings bank should improve the efficiency of the staff and branch, improve the network benefits, enhance the level of management. Especially the loan business, shall be fully attach importance to it. The postal savings bank LDR affect income has increased, not only to the imbalance of the long-term do not change the status quo may face the risk of loss. While completes the loan business development at the same time, should strengthen the risk control, avoid the assets quality of landslides.From the perspective of core competence, the postal savings bank should further develop its network advantages, strengthen personnel training and the introduction, has its own characteristics, to develop and market competitiveness of products.Especially in the process of the development of the rural market, enhance their service and rural environment fit, play a greater role for the new rural construction, realizes the postal savings bank and rural economic development of win-win situation. Enhance the market competitiveness of the postal savings bank, should pay attention to the following respects.First of all, continue to promote transformation, bank branches and policy advantage into full play. Compared with other big state-owned Banks, postal savings bank’s market competitiveness still exists obvious gap. To survive in the fierce market competition and development, the postal savings bank needs a different approach to make up for the weakness of the lack of market competitiveness. Therefore, the transformation is key to survive and develop in the competition. Postal savings bank should make full use of its own network coverage advantages, make good use of the favorable policy environment, deepening the rural market, to establish their own competitive area.Second, change the way the deposit-loan ratio imbalance, improve the profitability of the Banks. Profits of commercial Banks in China mainly come from credit business, and the profitability of the bank’s market competitiveness has important impact on the bank. Postal savings bank of LDR is a long-term imbalance in its profit and the main reason of the size does not match. Faced with huge deposits of servicing pressure, the postal savings bank must develop the credit business, improving the structure of the business. At the same time, should be in the development of quality management of assets, put an end to appear asset quality oflandslides.Third, to strengthen talent management, strengthen innovation ability. Postal savings bank in order to get a more broad space for development, must change the current depend on the current situation of the traditional business. In order to enhance the level of Banks’earnings and expand profit channel, to provide customers with more conform to the requirements of financial products and services. Customers for the bank’s increasingly diversified demand innovation ability put forward higher request, the innovation ability of ascension can only be done by rich talent pool.
