In 2018,the non-performing rate of China's credit card industry climbed.The number of fines issued by the Bank of China for credit card business was 44,and a considerable number of tickets were issued on the grounds that “credit business risk management is not prudent”.Credit card business is an important part of the bank's retail business and one of the important tools for banks to carry out strategic transformation.Therefore,how to improve the risk management of credit card business under the new economic situation has become an issue that banks have actively explored.As a representative commercial bank in Zhengzhou,Z Bank has a large amount of credit card business and has an important market position in Zhengzhou.By 2018,the cumulative amount of credit card issuance has exceeded 1.5 million.According to the type of credit card business risk and the object of risk management,the bank has established the principle,organization structure and specific process of credit card business risk management to achieve effective management of business risks.However,as the business volume continues to grow and the market environment continues to change,the bank still adopts the traditional risk management model,and has not adjusted and improved the credit card business risk management work accordingly.Based on the research on the current situation of credit risk management of Z Bank's credit card business,the bank compared with other commercial banks in the same industry and found that the bank's risk management model is out of line with the actual development of credit card.In recent years,its risk management work gradually gradually in various business links.Exposing the problem: the marketing personnel's risk awareness is weak and the marketing evaluation system is unreasonable in the marketing process;the credit evaluation system is imperfect in the approval process,the risk assessment method is backward,and the credit line is too high;the risk monitoring automation is weak in the transaction monitoring link Neglecting the management of special merchants;in the collection process,the collection method is backward and the collection is not strong.These problems are undoubtedly a hindrance to the further development of Z Bank's credit card business.In order to solve the problems existing in the risk management of Z Bank's credit card business,the following four business links and market environment are still the research ideas,and the following countermeasures are proposed: First,optimize the marketing management mechanism,cultivate awareness of risk prevention and control,and improve the performance appraisal system.Second,improve the pre-lending approval level,improve the personal credit evaluation system,upgrade the risk assessment technology,and rationally grasp the credit line.Third,strengthen transaction monitoring,establish a dynamic tracking and monitoring system,and pay attention to the management of special customers.Fourth,improve the post-loan collection system,expand the collection method,and establish a risk transfer and compensation mechanism.Fifth,promote the construction of market environment and promote the sharing of information in the industry.
