Enterprise innovation is the main driving force for the development of knowledge economy.As the main body of enterprise innovation,employees'creative performance will directly affect the outcome of enterprise innovation.Based on the Self-determination Theory,this paper discusses the influence mechanism of workplace fun and four types of workplace fun,social,relaxing,auxiliary and welfare,on employees'innovation performance,and examines the effect of intrinsic motivation and the role of autonomy,support environment.This paper collected 295 valid samples from employees in enterprises in technology area and analyzed the data with SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0.The conclusion is as following:(1)Workplace fun as a whole and all four types of workplace fun have significantly positive influence on employees'creative performance,and fun activities not so related with job such as social and welfare can promote employees'creative performance.(2)Workplace fun as a whole and four types of workplace fun have significantly positive effect on intrinsic motivation,and some"low organization"fun activities such as welfare and support can promote intrinsic motivation.(3)Intrinsic motivation has a significantly positive impact on employee creative performance.(4)Internal motives has an entirely mediation effect between the overall workplace fun,social type,relaxed,auxiliary workplace fun and employees'creative performance,and has a partial mediation effect between welfare workplace fun and employee creative performance.(5)The autonomy-supported environment has positive moderating effect between relaxed workplace fun and employees'creative performance,negative moderating effect between welfare workplace fun and employee creative performance,and no moderating effect between overall workplace fiun,social workplace fun,auxiliary workplace fun and employee creative performance.On the one hand,the conclusion of this paper is helpful to supplement the current research on workplace fun and enrich the investigation on the effect of workplace fun.On the other hand,the influence of four types of workplace fun,social,relaxing,auxiliary and welfare,on employee creative performance is verified from the viewpoint of self-determination theory.The conclusion provides strong theoretical support for high-tech enterprises to develop workplace fun,and not only reveals that the activities should be focused on stimulating the internal work motivation of employees,but also can play a role in promoting creative performance.Moreover,it is suggested that enterprises should adopt independent support means,strengthen independent support activities in relaxed workplace fun environment and avoid independent support activities in welfare workplace fun environment.
