In the past ten years,the devastating blow to the world economy caused by the global financial crisis in 2008 still leaves people with a lingering fear,which has also aroused the awareness of countries around the world to prevent financial risks.As the core of a country's economic system,the banking industry should not be underestimated.As a backbone of the banking industry,commercial banks control the development of social economy.Therefore,the identification and control of commercial bank risks should be the most important.After the financial crisis,both China and the United States attached great importance to strengthening the risk supervision of commercial banks.At the same time,they also adopted corresponding policies to alleviate the negative impact of the crisis on commercial banks,regardless of the quantitative easing monetary policy adopted by the US government."The "four trillion" stimulus investment plan implemented by the Chinese government has achieved certain results.However,the United States,where the banking industry is developed,is facing the financial turmoil,commercial banks have been hit hard,and China's commercial banks are still strong,and even their vitality is growing.The two different commercial banks' disparate living conditions have attracted widespread attention.Domestic scholars compare and analyze the upsurge of Sino-US commercial banks.On the basis of summarizing relevant literatures,this paper focuses on the comparative study of the overall anti-risk ability of Sino-US commercial banks after the financial crisis,and selects the financial data of 15 major commercial banks in China and the United States for the decade of 2008-2017 as a sample.The Z-score model measures the overall risk-resistance capabilities of commercial banks in China and the United States,and compares the overall risk-resistance capabilities of commercial banks in both countries.This paper divides 2009-2017 into three development stages based on the annual Z-score average of the major commercial banks of the two countries and the number of banks in each Z-score value range.Through horizontal comparison,this paper finds that in the decade after the financial crisis in 2008,the overall anti-risk capability of Chinese commercial banks has always surpassed that of the United States,which explains to some extent that the US commercial banks suffered heavy losses after the financial crisis,while Chinese business Part of the reason why banks are still operating steadily.After that,the article analyzes the reasons why the overall anti-risk ability of Chinese commercial banks is better than that of the United States from the aspects of system,policy and income structure.Although China has many shortcomings in the technology and system of risk management compared with the United States,we can also From the comparison of the overall anti-risk ability of Sino-US commercial banks,we found some advantages in the risk management of commercial banks in China.Through vertical comparison,this paper separately describes the trends of the overall anti-risk ability of the major commercial banks in China and the United States in 2008-2017,and analyzes the macro-control for business in light of the relevant policies issued by the Chinese and American governments in the past ten years.The impact of the bank's overall risk resistance.The financial crisis has brought about a new economic development environment.The continuous development of economic globalization has also brought new opportunities and challenges.The new historical period has also put forward new development requirements for China's commercial banks.Reviewing the hardships of maintaining the stability of commercial banks in China and the United States since the crisis,drawing lessons from the experience and management of risk management in commercial banks after the US crisis,focusing on China's current economic development environment,China's commercial banks should maintain their own anti-risk ability and continue to adhere to The risk supervision model combining macro prudence and micro prudence,while improving the risk management system,finds a balance between financial innovation and risk prevention,and grows more steadily while achieving efficiency.
