| Accelerating the manufacturing green upgrading is the only way to promote the transformation of the real economy strongly,and it is also a strategic measure to achieve high-quality development and build a modern economic system.Capital deepening and technological progress are important factors affecting the manufacturing green upgrading.Based on panel data of 30 provinces and panel data of 27 sub-industries in manufacturing industry from 2000 to 2016,it makes a comparative analysis of the status quo of capital deepening,technological progress and manufacturing green upgrading from two levels of sub-regions and sub-industries.Secondly,on the basis of theoretical analysis,building the system GMM model and the threshold effect model to empirically analyze the impact of the capital deepening and technological progress on manufacturing green upgrading.The empirical results based on the system GMM model show that capital deepening and technological progress can significantly promote the manufacturing green upgrading under the conditions of controlling urbanization level,household consumption level and foreign direct investment.The empirical results based on threshold regression model show that the impact of technological progress on manufacturing green upgrading to high and ecological is based on the double-threshold effect of capital deepening.When capital deepening crosses the first threshold,the promotion effect increases greatly;when it crosses the second threshold,the promotion effect on high upgrading of manufacturing is further improved,but the promotion effect on ecological upgrading of manufacturing is declined.From the long-term dynamic process,manufacturing high upgrading and ecological upgrading is two aspects of the same process.They are interlinked and interdependent.At present,Chinese manufacturing industry has completed the high upgrading and it is developing towards ecological upgrading.Finally,based on the analysis results,the corresponding policies are put forward. |
