Although the Red River Basin in Guangxi has rich natural resources,due to its complicated geographical conditions and fragile ecological environment,the economic development is unbalanced and the overall development level is low.The extensive agricultural production methods and the irrational development of natural resources have long caused the human-land relationship in the region to be tense,and the ecological and environmental problems such as land rocky desertification and seasonal shortage of water resources are prominent.From the perspective of ecological environment and the actual situation of economic and social development,it is an important task for the Red River Basin in Guangxi to seek the green ecological development path in accordance with local conditions and manage the regional complex ecological economic system scientifically and rationally.The eco-economic zoning is aimed at the unification of eco-environmental benefits and social and economic benefits.According to the characteristics of regional natural environment and economic development,the region is divided into different eco-economic zones,which provided a scientific basis for reasonable utilization of resources,ecological environment protection and land and comprehensive improvement,in order to promote the sustainable development of regional natural environment and social economy coordinated.This study explores the eco-economic regionalization of karst poor mountainous areas from a medium-scale scale across 20 counties.According to the characteristics of the study area,a combination of "top-down" and "bottom-up" zoning method is adopted.Firstly,according to regional zonal and non-zonal differentiation characteristics,regional climatic zone difference and genetic unity principle,"topdown" zoning method was adopted to conduct first-level zoning of the research basin.Secondly,combined with the different characteristics of the natural and cultural environment in the Red River Basin in Guangxi,the regional characteristic indicators such as peak area ratio and per capita sugar yield are fully considered,and the zoning index system is constructed.The systematic cluster analysis method of SPSS software was used to divide the research area from the division "bottom-up".Finally,combined with the results of first-level zoning and system clustering zoning,the basin is divided into second-level ecological economic zones.The main research conclusions are as follows:?.The research on eco-economic zoning divides the study area into an eco-economic functional unit with different resource endowments and different development advantages,which is helpful for local decision-making departments to rationally lay out industrial structure,learn from each other,give full play to local resource advantages,and improve local economic and ecological benefits.?.Combining statistical analysis with field research results,the construction of the zoning indicator system is completed,and the raw data of relevant indicators are obtained through field investigation,literature research,remote sensing interpretation,etc.,and then the first and second level ecological economic zones of the research area were divided by combining the "top-down" and "bottom-up" regionalization methods.?.According to the characteristics of latitudinal zonal differentiation and nonlatitudinal zonal differentiation,the research area is divided into three first-level ecological economic zones,which are respectively the Central Subtropical Natural Ecological Economic Zone in the Western Region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,the South Subtropical Natural Ecological Economic Zone in the Western Region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,and the South Subtropical Natural Ecological Economic Zone in the Eastern Region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.?.Based on the selection principle of regional indexes,and taking the regional characteristics of the natural environment and economic and social development of the study area into full consideration,a total of 24 representative indexes were selected to construct the ecological and economic zoning index system of the Red River Basin in Guangxi.SPSS software was used to carry out systematic cluster analysis on 24 index data of 20 counties in the river basin,and the result of system cluster partition was obtained.Combining the first-level partition and system clustering and partitioning results to complete the second-level partition,the Red River Basin in Guangxi is divided into Forest and Animal Ecological Economic Function Zone(?1)in the western part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Agricultural and Forestry Ecological Economic Functional Zone(?2)in the western part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Agricultural and Animal Husbandry and Karst Tourism Eco-economic Functional Zone(?3)in the western region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Ecological Economic Functional Zone of Industrial and Agricultural Mining Industry(?4)in the western region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Folk Customs Tourism Ecological Economic Function Zone(?1)in the Western Region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Forest and Animal Husbandry and Characteristic Cultural Tourism Ecological Economic Function Zone(?2)in the western part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Green Agriculture and Circular Industry Eco-economic Functional Zone(?3)in the Western Region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;Modern Industrial and Agricultural Industry and Landscape Tourism Ecological Economic Function Zone(?1)in the eastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region etc,.A total of eight ecological economic zone.?.According to the regional results,development status and resource advantages of each region,the orientation and development direction of 8 ecological economic functional zones were analyzed and discussed one by one.The results show that the eight eco-economic functional zones have different resource endowments and different advantageous industries in the development,so it is necessary to adopt targeted and zonal management development countermeasures to promote the sustainable economic and social development of each zone and the whole Red River Basin in Guangxi.
