Research On Inventory Control Of Handu Garments Based On Uncertain Demand Forecasting

Food,clothing,shelter and transportation are the foundation of human existence,and clothing is the symbol of social civilization and human progress.With the continuous improvement of social consumption level,people for Garment demand and consumption concept are also changing.More attention should be paid to the recognition and popularity of clothing when buying clothing,and higher requirements for fashion.Clothing has obvious seasonal and timeliness characteristics,and its life cycle is short.Under the influence of multiple factors,the problem of clothing inventory has become increasingly prominent.Demand forecasting is a feasible way to solve the inventory problem,which provides certain decision-making basis for enterprise inventory control.The article based on the background of ―fast fashion‖ garment industry,this study analyzed the product characteristics and inventory problems of Fast Fashion garment.At the same time,the effect of demand forecasting on inventory control is explained.Taking Handu Group,a ―fast fashion‖ garment enterprise,as the research object,the demand characteristics of its garment products are analyzed.The uncertainty of demand is explained.Choosing the actual sales data of IG8205 for sale,this paper analyzed the change of garment sales in the week after the listing.Considering the life cycle characteristics of garment products,According to the trend of weekly sales "rising-stable-falling",the forecast content is divided into three different time stages.On the basis of consulting a large number of related forecasting literatures,this paper will select the most reasonable forecasting method for each stage by comparing the mean square error MSE of forecasting data under different parameters,which is suitable for short-term demand forecasting methods: moving average method and exponential smoothing method.The clothing of Handu clothing house is located in Hanfeng fashion.The demand of consumer market is constantly changing,and the dependence on market information is relatively large.Therefore,the inventory control strategy of this study is based on the different time stages after the apparel products are listed,and the demand forecasting results are used as data support.On the premise of analyzing the factors affecting the inventory control of Handu clothing house,the idea of inventory control based on demand forecasting is put forward.Reasonable safety stock,minimum stock and reorder quantity are determined,production plan is adjusted flexibly,and reasonable inventory control is realized.Finally,the safeguard measures for inventory control of Handu Group are put forward.
