Usually, shadow banking is defined as a credit financial activity that is outside the traditional banking business and is not subject to or less regulated.Due to the limitations of traditional credit financing, the immature development of financial markets, and the inability to obtain effective and rational allocation of credit funds, the scale of China's shadow banking is growing fast. The development of shadow banking can alleviate the tension of financial financing to a certain extent. However,as the scale of China's shadow banking continues to expand, the number of transactions involved is increasing, the capital chain is continuously elongated, and the potential threat to the financial system is gradually emerging. It is considered to be the "gray rhinoceros" in China's current financial system.Under the current complicated macroeconomic situation, ensuring the stability of the financial system is not only a prerequisite for maintaining healthy economic development, but also an important goal for China to deepen financial reform. Therefore, studying the impact of shadow banking on the stability of the financial system is of great significance to the healthy development and effective supervision of the financial system. This paper based on the shadow banking and the condition of financial stability of China. The main content is divided into five parts. The first part elaborates the research background, research significance, research content, research status, research ideas and methods, points out the significance and feasibility of the topic, and clarifies the research structure and framework. The second part is to define and elaborate the concept of shadow banking and financial system stability, and explain the relevant theoretical basis of the research.Mainly includes defining the concept and scope of shadow banking, characterizing shadow banking from the aspects of commercial bank, regulatory arbitrage and maturity mismatch, combined with the chart to show the operation mode of shadow bank like bank-certificate cooperation,silver-silver cooperation and silver-based cooperation at different stages of development, explain the concept of financial system stability and its related theoretical basis. The third part analyzes the impact.Firstly,it analyzes the principle of shadow banking's influence on the financial system, then elaborates the impact path as a whole, and analyzes the impact of shadow banking on the stability of the financial system from three aspects: commercial banking, monetary policy and risk transmission. The fourth part is empirical test and analysis.Firstly, measuring the scale of the shadow bank. Then, constructing the stability index of the financial system combined with the index method and the entropy method to lay the foundation for empirical analysis. Finally, uses the VAR model to empirically test and analyze the impact and risk of shadow banking on the stability of the financial system based on the data. The fifth part summarizes the full text, and puts forward feasible suggestions based on the actual situation and research conclusions.
