Total factor productivity(TFP)is an important indicator of high-quality economic development, which can promote economic development in the direction of better quality, higher efficiency and stronger power.Through improving the total factor productivity, enhancing the scientific and technological innovation and research capabilities of tea products, improving the benefits of tea industry and strengthening the construction of leading tea enterprises,it plays an important role in promoting the transformation of tea industry, increasing farmers' production income, steadily advancing the poverty eradication campaign in Guizhou Province, and leading people into an all-round well-off society. At present, the tea industry in Guizhou has the following problems in general.Firstly,in terms of tea production efficiency, the tea garden scale in Guizhou Province does not match the output of high-quality tea.Secondly, the tea industry chain in Guizhou province is short and the innovative way of tea products is backward.Again, the idea of creating tea brands in tea enterprises is backward. Most of the tea produced in Guizhou Province has become puppets of brand tea outside the province as raw materials. In short, the overall innovative thinking for the development of Guizhou's tea industry is insufficient, and new impetus is urgently needed in the basic chain of production, processing and sales.Based on the current situation of tea industry development in Guizhou Province, this paper makes in-depth analysis on the prominent problems such as the mismatch between the single output of tea and the planting area of tea gardens, the weak linkage between tea production and secondary and tertiary industries, the backward competitiveness of tea enterprises and the overall low input of scientific research level, etc.,and uses DEAP software to calculate the changes of total factor productivity of tea industry in Guizhou Province from 2003 to 2017 and the degree of influence on economic growth. It is found that the development of tea industry in Guizhou province depends mainly on the growth of labor input at this stage, but the growth of total factor productivity(TFP)still plays a very significant role in the development of tea industry. With the disappearance of demographic dividend in recent years, the growth of TFP will also play an increasingly strong role in the development of tea industry.Based on this,an index system including the level of scientific research input, industry scale, etc.that can affect the improvement of total factor productivity is established. It is found that the scale of the industry, the level of scientific research investment and the degree of government intervention have stable positive and positive effects on total factor productivity. The positive effects of profitability on total factor productivity and the negative effects of concentration on total factor productivity are not significant. This is consistent with the current situation that many enterprises in the tea industry gather, but the scale of a single enterprise is small, the organizational structure inside and outside the enterprise is not rigorous, the overall influence ability of the enterprise is not strong, and there is no overall strict regulatory policy.Based on the current research situation, this paper puts forward reasonable policy suggestions from macro and micro aspects of the industrial level and the enterprise level in order to improve the total factor productivity of Guizhou tea industry and realize the transformation and upgrading of the tea industry.
