Research On The Impact Of Place Attachment And Situational Factors On Tourists' Environmentally Responsible Brhavior

Since the concept of "Beautiful China" was put forward at the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party and the state have paid more and more attention to the construction of ecological civilization.Tourism,as a comprehensive industry,has far-reaching significance for the construction of ecological civilization.As the main body of tourism activities,tourists have caused some damage to the natural environment or site environment of tourism area,such as soil,water quality,vegetation et al.However,the environment and resources of tourism area are basis of tourism development.If it was seriously damaged,the sustainable development of tourism would be affected.In this study,the basic model of tourists' environmentally responsible behavior is constructed based on the theory of planned behavior.To study the relationship between place attachment and environmentally responsible behavior intention,based on the theory of social exchange,the place attachment as an emotional factor is added as an independent variable into the basic model from the perspective of human and earth.To make a further extension of the basic model of tourists' environmentally responsible behavior,based on arousal theory,adaptation level theory,and behavior setting theory,the external objective situational factors—environmental quality and environmental policies of scenic spots are added as moderator to adjust the relationship between tourists' willingness to take environmental responsibility and their environmental responsibility behavior.To explore the influence mechanism of each variable on tourists' environmentally responsible behavior in the process of tourists in scenic spots,and put forward precise suggestions for environmental protection of scenic spots based on the hypothesis test results,both the individual and external objective environment are considered.According to the 316 valid questionnaires distributed in Nanjing Zhongshan Mountain National Park,structural,equation model and regression analysis were used to study the influence mechanism model of tourists' environmentally responsible behavior.Firstly,environmental attitude,perceived behavioral control and place attachment significantly promoted the tourists' environmentally responsible behaviors intention among which environmental attitude is the strongest,the perceived behavioral control is second,place attachment is the last,while subjective norms failed to influence tourists' environmentally responsible behaviors intention.In addition,perceptual behavior control also plays a direct driving role in tourists' environmentally responsible behavior.Secondly,tourists' environmentally responsible behaviors intention significantly promoted the tourists' environmentally responsible behaviors.Scenic environmental quality and scenic environmental policy had positive regulation effect on the change of environmental behavior intention into environmental behavior.Therefore,besides some traditional environmental protection polices,such as educating and punishing tourists for their uncivilized behavior,the park should also stimulate the environmental behavior of tourists by providing a more convenient way,enhancing emotional bond between the spot and tourists,improving scenic environment and so on,then promote the sustainable development of the parks.
