The advent of knowledge economy has aroused the importance of knowledge management to many scholars and enterprise managers.Knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding are important means of knowledge management practice,but relatively little attention has been paid to knowledge hiding.Existing literatures show that overqualification is an important factor affecting employees' knowledge sharing behavior,but there is a lack of systematic research on the relationship between overqualification and employees' knowledge hiding behavior.And overqualification and employee knowledge hiding behavior are two major topics that enterprises pay grate attention.It is of value in theory and practice to clarify the mechanism and boundary conditions between them.After reading a large number of literatures,and based on appraisal theory of emotion,affective events theory,emotional contagion theory and positive emotions: the broaden-and-build theory,the thesis a nonlinear mediating model between overqualification,negative emotion and knowledge hiding,and the cross-level moderating model of the team positive emotions on the relationship of negative emotions and employee knowledge hiding behavior.Through a sample of 398 employees from 106 knowledge teams and the software like HLM 7.0,SPSS 20.0 and Mplus7.0,we test the hypothesis in this study,the results show that negative emotions play a mediating role in the u-shaped relationship between overqualification and knowledge hiding,team positive emotion tone have a significant moderating effect between negative emotion and employee knowledge hiding behavior.Specially,the negative relationship among negative emotions and employees' knowledge hiding behaviors maybe stronger when team positive emotion tone is high.The thesis reveals the mechanism of overqualification and knowledge hiding in Chinese context,and richen the theory and practice research of overqualification and knowledge hiding.And putting forward to the management practice suggestions from the emotional perspective,which provides theoretical basis and practical suggestions for enterprise to reduce the negative consequences of overqualification and decrease employee knowledge hiding behavior.
