The Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that "high-quality development" should be taken as the goal of future economic development. This requirement is in line with the current situation of our country.China has now entered a new normal economy, the economic growth rate has slowed down, and the economic quality needs to be improved. Moreover,as an important part of the labor force in the modern industrial sector, the health status of migrant workers is worrying. Therefore,it is a meaningful topic to study the impact of migrant workers' health human capital investment on economic quality.Under this background,it is meaningful to study the quality of economic growth. Therefore, based on previous research literature, after thinking, this paper no longer regards total factor productivity as a dimension of the quality of economic growth, but regards four aspects of economic structure, economic stability, income distribution, resources and environment as the analysis dimension of the quality of economic growth, and regards the impact of four dimensions of the quality of economic growth on total factor productivity as the theme of this paper.Based on the theory of Marxist economics and the theory of Western economics, this paper analyses the impact of healthy human capital investment on total factor productivity of migrant workers from the perspective of high-quality economic growth.Because at present, migrant workers are an important source of workers in our country, but their health has not been paid attention to for a long time, and they are facing a severe situation. It can be seen from the theory of human capital that health,as an important aspect of human capital,is considered to play an important role in economic development. Therefore, this paper focuses on the impact of health human capital investment on total factor productivity of migrant workers Moreover, the relevant economic theory also shows that the investment of healthy human capital has an impact on the four dimensions of the quality of economic development. Therefore, this paper also studies the impact of the investment of healthy human capital of migrant workers on the quality of economic development and total factor productivity. The time series data show that there is a long-term stable relationship between them. Finally, the corresponding policy recommendations are put forward.Specifically, this paper includes six chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction.This paper briefly introduces the research background, purpose and significance, research ideas and structure, literature review and possible innovations and shortcomings. Its main content is that under the background of "high-quality development" put forward by the Nineteenth National Congress of the Party, this paper puts forward the research on the quality of economic growth, and links the health status of migrant workers as an important part of the labor force, and puts forward the research questions. And the literature related to total factor productivity;the quality of economic growth and the investment of migrant workers' health human capital are summarized.Chapter 2:Theoretical basis and analytical framework.Firstly, the concepts involved are explained, and then the relevant theories of Marxist economics, modern economic growth theory and labor migration theory are reviewed. Finally,an analytical framework is put forward, that is,how the health human capital input of migrant workers affects total factor productivity through several dimensions that affect the quality of economic growth.Chapter 3:Description of the state of health human capital investment and total factor productivity of migrant workers.Firstly,it shows the changes in the number and structure of migrant workers in China since 1990,the health input of migrant workers, the evolution of economic growth and total factor productivity, and the economic quality in the transitional period. The analysis shows that the scale of migrant workers is large, but the health input is poor;China's economic growth has slowed down after rapid development;although the economic quality has improved under the new normal, the total factor productivity has not changed significantly. Then it constructs the indicators involved in the paper:investment and consumption structure, health input of migrant workers, economic stability, income gap and resource environment.Chapter 4:Analysis of the mechanism of the impact of migrant workers' health human capital investment on total factor productivity. This paper analyses the mechanism of influencing the health input of migrant workers and the impact of health input of migrant workers on economic quality and total factor productivity under the framework of Marxist economics.Four propositions are put forward.Chapter 5:Empirical analysis of the impact of health human capital investment on total factor productivity of migrant workers.A stepwise regression model is established using cross-sectional data. The health input of migrant workers is regarded as the main variable and the quality of economic growth as the mediating variable. The mediating effect of several variables is analyzed. It is proved that the health input of migrant workers can affect total factor productivity through the quality of economic growth.Chapter 6:Main conclusions and policy recommendations. The conclusion of this study is that the number of migrant workers is increasing, the level of education and training has been improved tosome extent, but the investment of healthy human capital needs to be improved. Moreover, this paper confirms that the investment of healthy human capital of migrant workers can affect total factor productivity through the quality of economic growth. Therefore, the policy recommendations put forward in this chapter suggest that we need to improve the medical system in social security;strengthen the special financial subsidy for medical insurance investment of migrant workers in fiscal policy;strengthen the law enforcement of illegal social insurance activities of migrant workers in laws and regulations;give certain support to small and medium-sized enterprises having difficulty in operation;Continue Supply-side Reform in Macroeconomic Policy. The research ideas of this paper can be summarized as follows:combing the relevant theoretical basis and constructing an analytical framework to describe the status of the research topics;analyzing the mechanism of the research topics;analyzing the conclusions and policy recommendations of the empirical test of the research topics. This research idea is developed along the logical evolution of raising, analyzing and solving problems. The possible innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Most of the existing literatures do not consider the essence of TFP in depth when analyzing the influencing factors of TFP.In this paper,we use the relevant theories of Marx's economics and combined with the existing relevant literature to think that the essence of total factor productivity is the quality of the organic composition of capital. In the framework of Marxist economics, the mechanism of the impact of healthy human capital investment on total factor productivity is analyzed, which is rare in the relevant literature.(2)TFP is often regarded as a dimension of the quality of economic growth in the past literature. This is not enough to show the importance of TFP,so it is considered as a separate variable to study.
