In the increasingly fierce competition,changing market environment,the customer's personalized demand has become increasingly prominent,the contradiction between production capacity and demand is also highlighted.In order to improve the degree of customer satisfaction,the use of higher inventory is a solution,but it will increase the operating costs of enterprises.While maintaining a low inventory,to ensure a certain level of service,but also a challenge to the traditional large demand forecasting.As a manufacturing enterprise of many varieties and small batch production,it is generally faced with this problem.In this paper,the production control system is discussed from the point of view of demand forecasting and safety stock reserve.First of all,the development status and production planning system of production management theory are introduced briefly.Then using the constraint theory of thinking process tools,the production control system in the analysis of the existing problems,and put forward solutions.Secondly,based on the historical sales data,the time series method is used to forecast the sales volume,and the forecasting error is determined by using the Holt exponential smoothing method to set up the model of the company's demand forecasting.Again,in continuous inventory replenishment strategies,respectively from Perspective of service level and lead time of demand of independent and non-independent requirements of safety stock.On the basis of this study,the company carried out the demand forecasting accuracy assessment and other work adjust the whole machine,spare parts safety inventory.After a period of operation,the production system flexibility and customer satisfaction rate are improved.
