In the context of economic globalization,Chinese enterprises must maintain international competitiveness through the need to maintain competitiveness and achieve technological breakthroughs for enterprises in developed countries to become international companies with international influence. At present, multinational corporations represented by Huawei,ZTE and Changan try to build an international R&D network and set up technology R&D centers in developed countries. However, international research and development as a knowledge-and capital-intensive investment has a dual need for sharing risks and knowledge monopoly. In addition, there are uncertainties such as technological gap, cultural compatibility and policy incentive differences between China and developed countries, leading to Chinese enterprises internationally. The choice of R&D network nodes faces both external disadvantages, source country disadvantages and emerging disadvantages.Based on this,it discusses the internationalization research and development site of Chinese enterprises, provides practical reference for developing countries to build an international R&D network, and is also a useful supplement to the theory of international R&D.First, from the perspective of international R&D of Chinese enterprises, the influence of host country factors and agglomeration effects on the internationalization of R&D sites of Chinese enterprises is discussed.Using the binary selection model to discuss the impact of host country factors such as market size, system quality and R&D investment on the international R&D site selection of Chinese enterprises,on the basis of which the agglomeration effect is analyzed between the host country factor and the international R&D site of Chinese enterprises.Regulating effect. The study finds that the market size, institutional quality and the agglomeration effect of Chinese enterprises in the host country have a significant attraction to the selection of the international R&D network nodes of the enterprise, while the R&D investment positively affects the R&D network node selection, but the effect is not significant. In addition, the agglomeration effect plays a significant role in regulation. The higher the agglomeration effect of Chinese enterprises in the host country, the positive relationship between market size and international R&D network nodes is strengthened, and R&D investment and international R&D network node selection are positive. The relationship is weakened. On this basis,it sums up the similarities and differences between the influencing factors of international R&D site selection of Chinese enterprises and existing research, and then extends to the management enlightenment of other emerging economies.Secondly, analyze the geographical distribution of international research and development of Chinese enterprises.First,by categorizing the overseas investment list of the Ministry of Commerce, screening overseas investments with research and development characteristics, and summarizing the distribution of R&D institutions in China by countries in the world.Second, through PCT(World Intellectual Property Organization)Patent database, screening PCT patents for cooperation between Chinese enterprises and host enterprises;Thirdly, combining the distribution of the two to conduct a consistency analysis,it is found that the international research and development site of Chinese enterprises covers almost all regions of the world, but mainly concentrated in Europe and America. There are fewer regions in Asia,Africa and South America, and the two-level differentiation of R&D institutions is more serious. In addition, the international R&D results and institutional distribution in Europe and the United States are roughly unified, but R&D investment in Asia,Africa and South America has fewer R&D achievements, and there is no R&D output in Africa. Finally, combined with the international R&D distribution of Chinese enterprises and the factors affecting the internationalization of R&D sites of Chinese enterprises, the paper further proposes the policy recommendations of Chinese enterprises in the construction of international R&D network.
